What was the scope of their involvement?

Grupa IDEACTO sp. z o.o. conducted an analysis of our service’s compliance with WCAG 2.1 at the AA level. They tested key types of subpages for accessibility using a keyboard, screen reader, magnifier, and on-screen keyboard. The team identified errors affecting accessibility for different user groups and prepared corrective recommendations. We did a market search and reviewed several UX companies, we chose Ideacto based on their portfolio.

We discussed the concept with their project manager and UX designer, we analyzed our competitors' pages, users needs, concerns and agreed on the approach. They were very patient in the process and reiterated several times as we were quite picky (didn’t accept the first version of the design and submitted multiple revisions for the second version). The project took about 2 weeks and in the end, we got a design which I think is amazing.

One of our managers worked with IDEACTO on other occasions before and was satisfied. We reached out to them and after an initial review, we decided to give it a go.

One of our long-term clients wanted to have their platform redesigned. As our project team consisted of front-end and back-end developers, we needed someone to help with the designs. IDEACTO provided us with one of their designers. After setting up the cooperation, UX/UI designer started working on the new designs with our client’s Business Analyst. Now, our software team is receiving all the designs timely, and we can work further on the technical part of the project.

We pay special attention to quality and client satisfaction matters. It also comes with recommendations of third parties. We’re still working on the redesign, but the client decided to prolong cooperation with IDEACTO’s designer. Our recommendation occurred to be right, which satisfies us.

The coordinator of IDEACTO was great. We had some minor issues with tracking the designer’s time, but in general, we’re satisfied with the communication quality.

IDEACTO was ready to start working on our project really immediately. Their designer simply kept on getting things done well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We needed to adjust the workflow during the project, as the time spent by the designer wasn’t tracked and documented properly. And our own financing model with our client required it. We think that it could’ve been arranged better, however, as mentioned above — we successfully adjusted the workflow in the meantime, and it ended up very well (the client decided to prolong the cooperation).

We are pleased with the outcomes of the tasks Ideacto's team performed for our projects. They supported all the way through implementation and consulted with the developers team when needed.

Ideacto's designers are skilled and they have very good communication skills. We have worked in a typical agile project and there was no blocker in the workflow between them and our PM and team of developers.

The skills of Ideacto designers are good, and the management is flexible throughout the project development. They are also open to respond to the common needs that our companies had in the projects we shared.I am very happy to have Ideacto as a partner.

Initially it was a bit of a challenge to start new phases of the project because we had no direct access to Ideacto's team availability. We have brought this up and the communication improved. Our coordinator and BAs have now an open channel with Ideacto's coordinator and that makes planning pretty transparent and smooth.

Our client wanted to optimized the car selection configurator as a key purchase funnel. We had three main goals - adapt configurator for mobile, combine two purchase funnel and simplify the car selection process.

We knew IDEACTO as one of the best UX/UI agencies in Poland, and we knew that they specialized in eCommerce process optimization. They also have a strong experience in working with Software Houses - it was important for us. After a few meetings, we knew that is the ideal partner for us and our client.

After that Ideacto provided quantitative and qualitative data analysis. After a few interactions and discussions, the vendor came back to us with UX and UI design.

We saw 226% increase in leads, 231% increase in returning users and 246% increase in mobile users. The new design of purchase funnel makes it much more leads.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Ideacto worked directly with our client and provided us frequent updates. We used a phone conference and e-mail for all communication. I have no objections to the quality of communication in our project.

I was impressed by Ideacto's knowledge of the optimization purchase funnel in eCommerce. The team of UX and UI designers was very experienced and involved. They also know the specifics of working together with the software house team.

We received list of over 60 different points, classified form "critical-for-go-live" ending on "nice-to-have" for critical users flows. The report contents was structured to the extent of convincing key project stake-holders of making the late changes to ensure desired quality

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It varied, at the very beginning we faced several slow-downs caused by single communication contact point, message was affected & we didn't proceed as fast as we wanted. The situation vastly improved as we encouraged for direct communication with the respective Team Members.

Our Company operates in quite unique selling model which is hard to grasp in the light of traditional digital market tools. From this stand point I was positively surprised in seeing the understanding of what we are doing & trying to achieve rather then enforcing they

Yes, while we are happy with the end-results I see that way-of-working with Corporations (slow by definition) should be mastered: 1. In some cases the pragmatic advise can deliver more value vs complete solution more agile companies can afford 2. Operations centered around single person can slow-down the entire process.
