I’m the head of Central/Eastern European region at Horizon Global Group, an American investor who acquired Westphalia Automotive, a fully automotive company where I work.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ideacto?

We needed to contract someone to help with digital marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they did our landing page and an audit of our website. We just needed something simple to display and explain the product. What was most important was that it had features explained and a dealer locator. They contact the dealers and distributors in it.

We also needed help with Google campaigns as well as many other tasks that were sent to them like graphics, simple banners, some social media management when I didn’t have my staff that could do it.

The photographs of the products were also done by them. They had a subcontractor doing it, but we gave them our products and did the photo spec.

We also have a central website in many languages. It’s based on TYPO3. I asked them to make an audit of the Polish version of the website and many bugs were found that they corrected before the Google Campaign.

I searched for someone in my city because I’m traditional when it comes to commissioning services that I don’t know too much about. I assumed I might need to meet in person to talk more about it. I used to work with somebody else and I wasn’t satisfied. Then I reached out to Ideacto and I stayed with them.

We started working together in June 2017 and the work is ongoing.

They deliver quality work. They don’t try to charge too many hours for simple jobs, which keeps us satisfied.

How did Ideacto perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is very good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The graphics and all the small jobs they do are necessary but not their key service. They really are passionate about rebuilding, refreshing, and auditing websites.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m a satisfied customer.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They have a lot of very good and expensive ideas. You need to watch your wallet. They’re very creative, but you need to know your budget.

Ideacto was hired to help to identify our needs regarding calculating tool which we want to implement and to help us to prepare requirements for the tender.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to identify our client needs from user experience perspective. In this case we decided to hire professional UX agency to help us with this subject.

We searched in the internet for a ux agency. We also collected recommendations from the market. Ideacto had a good portfolio, clients references and reasonable prices so we decided to work with them.

Once, we decided to start this project, we had a series of skype meetings to discuss our needs, goals and challenges. We needed to select interdisciplinary team members from our company, who will participate in the workshop. We had set a date for all day workshop. During the workshop we followed the agenda of the meeting. We were working in 2 groups. We used few technics of work to identify a potential process shape– successfully.

The team from agency side counted 3 person. We had a dedicated PM and 2 UX designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This project was only the first step to create calculating tool, so I can only share the information, that in the result of the workshops, whole process were agreed by different team members, which was very challenging considering the fact, that every department have different needs.

PM was very communicative and he provided us with presentation with the complete results of our workshop.

Their extensive experience, communication skills, and professional attitude were impressive.

We checked how to show information on the website, graphics, functionalities, tools, calcators with customers and choose solutions with the best ranks. We cooperated also with company responsible for developing operstional system and CMS.

We had dedicated Project Manager who was respondible for delivering all elements, informations and graphics on time. The team included also UX/UI designers, graphics and testers.

We had very positive Feedback from our company, from our customers and from the market. We increased sales from our website.

The communnication was very good and effects of our work was visible soon thanks engaging both teams. Helps us especially workshops, meetings, statuses, calls and open minds.

Their knowledge and experience set them apart. Webdesign, user experience, understanding difficult finance servises and flexibility.

From the perspective of time I can say that at the end of the project we worked really fast, effective and understood each other very well, but we need time for that.

We decided to replace existing website and build new one from scratch. New CMS, new UI. We do not have any in house designers and UI specialists so we decided to outsource the entire redesign.

We wanted the website to be the easiest to use bank website in Poland. We aimed at clear, modern yet approachable look and feel coherent with brand visual identity.

Vendor was selected in a pitch process. We selected vendor based on their experience, credentials and price point.

We started with 84 working hours of meeting with various stakeholders to diagnose their needs and fine tune UX/UI brief. At the same time the agency cooperated with SEO experts to take their perspective into consideration when working on information architecture.

Then we moved on to wireframes for both mobile and desktop. Translating brand visual identity to website design was the next stage. After few iterations the agency came back to us with perfect design. Vendor was also responsible for delivering designs ready for implementation.

We contacted mainly project manager but also when needed UX and graphic designer. We felt sufficient number of people was engaged. Project management was very efficient.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Project was awarded Site of the month distinction by Kentico. We had good qualitative feedback both internally and from the market. We also did notice +46% conversion rate increase for current accounts.

Project management was very efficient. We connected over the phone for status meeting at least once a week. Our daily feedback was smoothly implemented.

I was most impressed by how well they handled internal workshops we had with various stakeholders.

Our client is extremely happy with the design work Ideacto delivered for them. We're glad to have worked with them, because the cooperation went without problems, communication was great and they answered any questions we had very quickly.

Smooth! We cooperated using our standard tools (Slack, Jira). The cooperation between our developers and their designer was great.
