Ferma Gorata is a Bulgarian farm-to-table meat brand offering high-quality farm-raised meat through butcher shops, online sales, and subscription deliveries. Since 2017, we have focused on responsible animal raising, traceability, quality, and a direct connection with our customers. Our product range includes beef, pork, pasture-raised chicken, premium steak cuts, minced meat, burgers, sausages, slow-cooked meat in jars, and curated meat boxes.
A key part of our business is our subscription delivery model, which allows customers to receive carefully selected farm-raised meat directly to their homes on a recurring basis. Our mission is to make honest, traceable, and responsibly raised meat more accessible to families across Bulgaria.

The scope of work included a complete migration of our e-commerce website from WooCommerce to Shopify and the development of a new, modern online store for farm-raised meat products and subscription deliveries. Grumspot handled the full technical migration process, including the transfer of our products, collections, content pages, store structure, customer-facing information, and key e-commerce functionality.
A very important part of the project was preserving our existing SEO performance during the move from WooCommerce to Shopify. They carefully managed the URL structure, redirects, technical SEO details, and launch process, which allowed us to migrate without losing our organic search performance. In addition to the migration, they redesigned and rebuilt the customer experience on Shopify.
The new store included improved product presentation, clearer navigation, mobile optimization, a smoother checkout journey, and a structure that better explains our farm-to-table brand, our product categories, and our subscription meat delivery model. Another key deliverable was the implementation of subscription-based meat boxes, allowing customers to order curated farm-raised meat deliveries on a recurring basis.
Grumspot helped us create a scalable setup that is easier for customers to understand and easier for our internal team to manage. The final deliverables included a fully functional Shopify store, migrated product and content structure, SEO-safe migration setup, subscription delivery functionality, improved UX and design, mobile-responsive pages, testing, launch support, and a backend that our team can manage much more efficiently than before.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project delivered several important measurable outcomes immediately after launch. Most importantly, the WooCommerce to Shopify migration was completed without any loss of our existing SEO positions. Preserving our organic search visibility was one of our biggest concerns, and Grumspot handled the migration in a way that kept our rankings stable after launch. Another strong early result was the launch of our new subscription delivery service.
In the first week after going live, subscriptions already accounted for around 10% of our total monthly online revenue. This was achieved organically, without running advertising campaigns for the new subscription service, which showed that the user experience, product presentation, and subscription flow were clear and effective from day one. The new Shopify store also made our internal operations easier.
Our team can now manage products, content, subscriptions, and orders in a more structured and efficient way compared to our previous WooCommerce setup.
