I’m the founder of Relivo, a SaaS platform that enables secure, GDPR-compliant personalized photo galleries and marketing experiences using advanced facial recognition. We’re tailored for event agencies, corporates, team leaders, and photographers.

The Growth Syndicate mainly provides strategic guidance and practical recommendations rather than executing the content creation, landing page redesign, or marketing automation setup.

Their guidance isn’t generic; it’s specific to our stage, target customers, and our need to build a more focused go-to-market approach. He challenges our assumptions in a constructive way and helps us translate broad marketing topics into clear and practical next steps. That mix of motivation, commercial sharpness, and hands-on relevance makes the collaboration especially valuable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are no major areas where The Growth Syndicate has underperformed. If anything, it would be great if they could include more hands-on implementation support after the strategic recommendations, especially around content execution, landing page updates, and marketing automation setup. The strategic guidance is strong, but as a small startup team, extra support during execution would help us move faster.

We worked with The Growth Syndicate to take a fresh look at our growth strategy from first principles. They helped us sharpen our positioning and turn it into a clear, actionable GTM strategy. The goal was to build something that fits where we’re going as a company and communicates that direction much more clearly than we had previously.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So the main outcome was that we ended up with a much clearer growth direction and a sharper way to explain who we are, what we do, and why it matters. Also sharpened our ICP. And the project helped turn a lot of loose ideas into a more structured positioning and GTM approach that we can actually use. For us, success was measured clarity, confidence and speed of execution. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management was strong and very straightforward. Communication was clear, expectations were managed well, and they delivered what they said they would deliver. What I appreciated most was that they were responsive, and turning that into action directly. When we had questions, feedback or new thoughts, they listened, challenged where needed, and quickly translated it into something practical.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Definitely the people. The team at TGS is just very strong. They have a deep understanding of growth in the broadest sense of the word, but also know how to make it practical. Jolien, Ferdinand and Clem bring a lot of experience, and you can feel that they have a serious track record behind them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Growth Syndicate could have done differently?

Not much to add here. The only thing I would say is that a team like TGS probably adds the most value when they are brought in as early as possible, especially when the strategic direction is still being shaped. That being said, they will have great impact when you are an established company needing to get more clarity on your GTM strategy.
