Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm co-owner and Lead Editor and Writer for www.speakyourownbook.com, a writing services provider for people wanting to write their own books and for general copywriting/ghostwriting.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Grizzly New Marketing, Inc., and what were your goals?

Specifically, to take over our Google and web page marketing. I am really not a marketer, and we got in over our heads very quickly. We looked for a company that could help us get the marketing going properly, so that I could focus on recruiting and training writers and editors.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Grizzly has a lot of great reviews in multiple countries. I have come to know some of the people that work there quite well, and their ingenuity, sincerity, and honesty can't be matched. This may be a bit biased, but in general, Dutch companies are just ran much more efficiently than American companies, and I really like their Dutch roots and Dutch values.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

An account rep first reviewed our site and the sites of our three leading competitors, and then prepared a well-researched SEO marketing plan, including a lot of keywords that would be searched by our clientele. Every two months, we get regular updates on the progress of the landing pages Grizzly has created. This helps us keep on track and see our return on investment unfold as we follow their plan.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with Heather from Sales, Terence and Steven from Accounts Management, and one person from the Tech side whose name escapes me at the moment. They are all amazing people, honest about what they can deliver, and working hard to meet every deadline and goal.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've already increased our rankings in two of our keywords, with the rest lagging only because of a site error on our end that has now been corrected with the help of the Grizzly team. We've increased site traffic exponentially. And most importantly, we're landing new work left and right. My biggest concern now is just making sure I have enough writers to do the work!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicated seamlessly from team to team. Emails, phone, and Zoom made it even easier than meeting in person.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The absolute honesty. They didn't promise us the sun and moon. They gave us realistic goals, realistic timeframes for achieving them, and a clear plan of action to get there. Now we're at some of those goals already, and I can see that their process just works.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. Any issues that arose were from our end, such as the site error, and Grizzly even stepped in with a lot of those and helped guide us. It really helped to have that handholding when we needed it. My team and I know how to write, but we're not marketers, and we needed a real marketer who knew what they were doing to reach this new level of success.
