We asked greyotters for support in increasing the quality traffic coming to the Lendi website. We are a client in the financial industry and offer our customers the opportunity to use a cash loan and mortgage comparison engine. This allows them to compare offers from multiple banks and financial institutions to find the best solution for themselves. 

The mortgage industry in which we operate is characterized by tremendous competitiveness, it is one of the most difficult industries when it comes to visibility in organic results, and our competitors are bank websites, loan comparison and calculators, and high-ranking financial portals. The strategy proposed by greyotters involved a comprehensive approach to SEO activities in its 3 key areas: 

• technical optimization, 
• content optimization and development 
• improving the authority of the site. 

At the beginning of the cooperation, greyotters conducted a technical audit of the site, analyzed keyword phrases and prepared a content strategy based on the analysis. 1. Site optimization (and co-creation of the new site with an external WebDesign agency).

The actions began with conducting in-depth analyses, on the basis of which an action strategy was created in the area of website optimisation as well as content development planning. greyotters prepared recommendations for our copywriter who prepared content compliant with the brief. In parallel, we implemented recommendations concerning site optimisation.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project resulted in a significant increase in the amount of traffic to our site. Thanks to appropriate optimisation and effective linkbuilding activities, we significantly increased visibility in organic results. We also gained a lot of know-how - the GreyOtters team thoroughly explained their actions and prepared recommendations for us to use on our own.

We definitely had the impression that we are partners and not a client who has to be ticked off the list. Thanks to the consulting activities, we have significantly increased the level of optimisation of development work effects for our clients.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The cooperation was very good. Mateusz from GreyOtters was very responsive, he often took the initiative himself. The communication took place in the form of emails and calls, the GreyOtters team was available even after working hours. Each action was summarised by e-mail and explained in detail. I also really liked the partnership and transparent approach to settlements.

Although GreyOtters were not the cheapest, I had the impression of very professional service and money well spent. I have no problem recommending them further (which I do).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I liked the most was the professional approach, both in the area of communication and the work delivered. The founders of GreyOtters have spent several years in large marketing agencies, and that is probably why they know what good project management should and should not look like. Despite the fact that we were not a very big client, I had an impression that I was important for them and the work was not done with "as little effort as possible".

We are very impressed with the team's knowledge of international operations. Greyotters specialize in such projects and know how to be cost-effective, so the cost of activities on competitive markets (such as the USA) was not scary.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At this time, we have no objections or comments. We still work together.
