I’m a team leader at Jobon Consults Limited. It’s a business consulting firm dealing in accounting solutions and business advisory services. We do company registration, file tax returns, recruit workers or employees, and deal with business consultancy in general.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goglobal?

They helped with our digital presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Goglobal created our website, and they’re now doing online marketing for us. They also manage our website and social media pages, such as Facebook and Instagram.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people. They were website designers, but their team leader was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Goglobal?

We searched on Google and followed them on their website. Their work was excellent, and their cost was fair compared to other companies.

How much have you invested with them?

It was approximately $483.

What is the status of this engagement?

I met them in January 2021. The project lasted from March–April 2021. However, the engagement is ongoing since they manage our social media and do online marketing for us.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen a positive impact on the business. We got a lot of traffic after the website was done. People are now following us online and contacting us because they want to hire our services. We’re constantly receiving messages through email.

How did Goglobal perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great in terms of time. Sometimes we’d delay them, but their time has been good. Also, they know how to handle clients. Communication is good, so we haven’t had any hardships.

Our communication is always online. We use Zoom sometimes, or we might post a message on their website. We also communicate over Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is loyal and honest, and they’ve delivered our work as we expected. Overall, they have a marvelous customer service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they should add on the workforce. Their business is expanding, so staffing will be a challenge for them. Otherwise, there’s nothing much to change. They just need to keep up with what they're doing.

Follow Goglobal on their website to see how people are rating them. When you follow them, you can also see the products they’ve done and the recommendations that people leave.

My organization is called Community Transformation Network Foundation. It's a nonprofit community-based network organization registered in Uganda, and our work is largely social economic empowerment. I'm the organization’s development and partnerships manager.

We work with about 40 local-based community organizations, and we bring them together to advocate for a number of things such as rights, education for children, poverty alleviation, and health among others.

GoGlobal supports us in developing and managing our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re responsible for developing, designing, and uploading content, and making sure that our website is seen, is available, and provides the information that our audience needs. We have a slow internet connection in Uganda, so the website has to be optimized so that it can upload media even with a slow internet connection.

They built the website from scratch at the beginning of the project. I gave them materials and documents of how we wanted it to look like, as well as the content — they looked at them and then provided the technical guidance.

Additionally, since our programming is a mixed audience, they had to ensure that it’s balanced in terms of content and media. Basically, we wanted a website that’s robust and is able to meet our needs.

They developed the website using WordPress, and they provided us with SEO optimization and plugin implementation.

What is the team composition?

The main point of contact is with Mark (Team Leader), and he has a team of people he works with.

How did you come to work with GoGlobal?

They were recommended to me by a friend when I was doing some personal work and logo development, which isn’t part of our organization’s work.

They worked on my logo and I was really satisfied by their timeliness, so I recommended them to my organization to take on this work.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This engagement started in June 2021, and the original contract was just supposed to be for a month, but our partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We wanted to make sure that our website is accessible and visible to our users on both desktop and mobile, and that’s what Goglobal has done. I think their communication has been very open and quick, and they’ve also been receptive to our feedback concerning changes that need to be made.

How did GoGlobal perform from a project management standpoint?

We are satisfied. For communication, we use mostly email and WhatsApp, and we don’t have any specific tools that we use for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication is always on point. We had worked with website designers in the past, who didn’t understand what we were telling them. I feel that GoGlobal is more receptive and professional in how they engage with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Right now, I don't feel that there’s anything that needs improvement. I'm satisfied with them because they've been very receptive to us.

Any advice for potential customers?

Anyone looking to engage with them needs to be very open to some technical guidance, especially about website design. Sometimes, we come with things in mind that might be a bit ambiguous and maybe impossible, so always maintain open communication.

I found them online. I had a conversation with them on how to develop my website and how to make it more attractive. They gave me suggestions and proposed business with me. I felt they would be a good partner.

The work they do is terrific — I appreciate their work. When I suggest something for the website, they're speedy and appeal to what I’m thinking and expecting — I didn’t lose any time working with them.

Project management is perfect, and everything has worked well since we began. They come up with ideas, which I appreciate. In terms of communication, we use email and WhatsApp.

They’re accessible; I can contact them during the night. It’s easy to communicate with them and to perform the intended work at the appropriate time.

They need to expand their expertise, and they should add services like SEO.

I am the director of SPODA ENTERPRISES LTD, in Uganda. It's a consultancy firm dealing in Swine, Poultry, Dairy and Horticultural technologies. We offer our services to farmers in Uganda and the neighboring countries.

For what projects/services did your company hire Goglobal?

We had to design and publish a website by June 2019 but unfortunately, our technical personnel got involved in other activities. Moreover, he did not have the required skills to drive the project to completion. For that reason, we contacted Goglobal to help in designing a professional website that would expose us to the rest of the world.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We vetted a group of professionals. We requested for their previous projects and cost range. We were impressed by his outstanding work and cost-effectiveness.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After our first meeting with Goglobal, we created a SPODA WEBSITE DESIGN GROUP. We shared our vision, goals, and objectives. Goglobal was required to come up with templates for review by the committee. After a series of discussions that involved content creation, theme designs, among others, we were able to launch our website.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our team worked closely with 1 member from the vendor's side. He was the project manager. It was incumbent upon him to contact other team members from his side.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final template was awesome. Our company registered a profound milestone and this exposed us to the rest of the world. We receive numerous emails and texts from various visitors who need our services. For the last 2 weeks ever since the website was launched, our services have improved 10 fold.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was so responsive. He provided timely feedback as frequently requested. We communicated mostly through telephone calls and Whatsapp. He was able to finish the project within the agreed time frame.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Some people always find it hard to merge speed and quality work. It was to my surprise when the vendor provided quality service in a limited time frame.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We worked closely with the vendor and anything we did not like was changed during the designing process.
