What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
For more brand awareness, there has been a striking increase in share of voice within our industry. Other than this, the grant was behind arranging most of the mentions and media placements which we were able to avail of. It set us up, in a sense, with better qualified prospects, better consistency on the brand, and much clearer digital strategy from here on out. Post our association within a year we've routed a lot of our different businesses to them looking at the way they have performed and are performing the bond gets stronger and stronger.

They were organized project-wise, transparent, and responsive throughout the entire engagement. The engagement started with the establishment of a project timeline that highlighted major milestones. They kept to the deadlines or might have exceeded them most of the time, we appreciated their approach of dividing major initiatives into a few phases to monitor progress better and keep one aligned with all stakeholders but more importantly, the team really listened to our needs and goals with equal focus.
Any time a quick turnaround on a campaign was needed or additional support during the brand launch was required, they would swing into action and perform. Quality was never diminished in the name of speed. Their ability to remain agile while maintaining structure is what allows things to go smoothly and efficiently.

What resonated with me pertaining to this agency was the combination of strategy and sincere partnership. They weren't simply the people who executed orders but they sat down and listened to the entire story of our brand, industry, and long-range ambitions, they were remarkably flexible in terms of creative storytelling and business intent, often dropping ideas for us that we had never considered.
Another thing that truly sets this agency out is their obsessive stance on performance and accountability every single recommendation they put forth was based on projections, evidence and results, in full transparency of what can work and the things that needed to be changed about the scenario. This reinforced our confidence in their way and made it feel so much that we had our internal team with them.

1. Brand Identity: They helped us build the Rukmini brand from scratch — including exploring brand names, defining the brand positioning and personality, creating the full brand strategy deck, designing the logo with all variations, and putting together a complete brand identity guideline covering colors, typography, imagery, and usage rules.
2. Assets & Collateral Design: They designed all our key business and marketing materials such as visiting cards, letterheads, brochures, product flyers, and catalogues. They also developed the entire packaging design system — from the core concept to final print-ready master files and mockups for all our rice variants.
3. E-Commerce Website Development: They built a fully responsive WordPress + WooCommerce website for us, including the sitemap, content writing, UI/UX designs, CRM and WhatsApp integration, SEO basics, and product listing support. They also added inquiry forms, blog pages, social links, and ensured everything was tested and ready for launch.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Deliverables scheduled to have been effected during the initial period were far behind what was committed. We were constantly assured during our review meetings that things would pick up and the shortfalls would be made up. We waited, in good faith, for improvements to happen. Unfortunately the situation did not change.
Less than 50%of committed deliverable were closed. Website project was closed only after 10 months as against committed 8 weeks duration. Quality of deliverables were very poor. Website deliverables were shared without even basic testing.
To get the project closed, we finally had to deploy out internal team for testing. Significant amount of time had to be spend helping the vendor with repetitive discussions and multiple mails on same topics, escalations , content rewriting etc for Cogniphi to recover some ROI atleast on the website.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Poor work ethics. Deliverables were routinely missed with zero updates. Escalations were met with no response or assurances for delivery which were not met Concerns about lack of delivery and overall non performing of tasks were met with negative attitude and abrupt stopping of work by delivery head on digital marketing Despite clear cut signed NDA the vendor is still using our comapny logo on their website
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The engagement with The Go- to- Guy was a tiresome, with poor outcomes and no ROI on digital marketing. Significant amount of time and effort had to be dedicated to educate , guide, correct and hold repetitive meetings for the team with the expectation that the vendor would reciprocate with results. Still the attitude was casual with poor deliverables and communication. The team lacks empathy (one startup to another)and respect for client's time , investment and goodwill.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Yes. As a business be transparent and respect client's privacy and NDA. Client's logo should be used for marketing only with approvals. Improve quality of deliverables. Deliverables shared are amatuerish and need to be checked. Improve requirements elicitation by following proper process and approach. Improve communication with updates on missing deadlines.
Avoid repetitive meetings and discussions on same topics with client with MOM and confirmations from client. Multiple times we ended up getting deliverables without incorporating the agreed points as part of discussions. Meetings seemed to be futile, because the points of discussions were not captured. Encourage feedbacks. Develop trust, empathy and respect for client's time and investment.
