I'm the CMO of a humanitarian aid organization that saves lives.

For what projects/services did your company hire Go Fish Video - Commercial Video Production, and what were your goals?

We used Go Fish Video for an original brand reel. What does Zakat Foundation do? Do we only work internationally? Common misconceptions we needed addressed. This was our challenge - we had to convey our life's work in about a minute. Go Fish delivered a compelling reel that hit every mark.

How did you select Go Fosh Video - Commercial Video Production, and what were the deciding factors?

Having previously worked with Creative Director Sasha Shemirani I knew his creative instincts were incomparable, his flexible nature makes him a true partner, and his easy to work with team made the decision very easy for us.

We started with a kick-off call, shared strategy and audience insights, we shared some of our existing b-roll (old footage.) His team took to storyboarding and scriptwriting. With plenty of rounds of review, and cooperative design exploration we were able to finalize elements quickly.

Moved into filming (virtually, which was incredible,) with final audio and color correction, we had our reel within weeks.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Sasha Shemirani, and Paul Elia were our primary points of contact. Both are very easy to work with and by nature are collaborative. The feedback process took place via initial phone call, and then via email. No miscommunication, no delays, just amazing creative!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new video was shared with our board, high-level congressional staff, and our donors. Feedback we received was very positive. The reel is the perfect brand reel to play before meetings when we're introducing our org for the first time to a strategic audience.

Internally, our staff felt very connected to the piece.

Sasha and his team are very responsive, and very eager to help. There was never a delay on their part, they always met the timeline and communicated effectively and efficiently. Sasha is organized, and his team always delivers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to understand who we are. They didn't do that "quick review of our website" thing that most agencies do. They took the time to ask questions, research, explore our stories, dive into our old content. Sasha and Paul really care about the work our organization does and did everything to help us tell a compelling story.

They have the brains and skills of a massive creative agency with endless resources, but somehow made us feel like a part of the family. Holding our hands through the process, working with us to create something powerful.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of any. We are so pleased with their work that we've since worked with them on two additional projects. Go Fish Video, Sasha, and Paul are our "go-to" guys and we can't wait for the next project.

To create a 3 minute video about our Company Brand and products. We were looking for a professional looking video that could also incorporate graphics into the production.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was looking for a director that had a good sense of cinematography and design elements. When I saw their demo reel I knew they had what it took to delivery a high quality product.

We met and discussed the project and the points we wanted to highlight. We wrote a script of what elements of the business needed to be covered and then setup a date for the film shoot. Everything was filmed in one day and then we went to editing which took about 3 weeks.

Mainly with the Director Sasha and there was excellent communication.

The video was and has been a tremendous success. It gave our company the professional look we wanted and has helped us close several contracts.

We combine advanced technology and medical science to heal the most complex and dynamic system of all—the human metabolism.

We have used Go Fish for all of our videos (over 15 shoots at this point) We wanted videos that showed high-tech, yet clean, aspects of our company which sits on the intersection of health and technology.

Referred by a close contact that I trust. Needed someone professional, cost-effective, and fast.

The videos vary in complexity. Some involve health information, others are demo videos all of them turned out great. Started by me calling their head of production. We talked in detail about the project. Then we scheduled the shoot. Then I sent over the script 3-5 days in advance. I attended the shoot which was in an LA high rise (super cool) and then it took about a week to get the first draft video, minor edits were requested and things were ready for launch on time!

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with Sasha. He was friendly, yet professional throughout. Highly recommend.

The video was high quality, on time, and very polished. I have since recommended them to 4 other companies.

Their ability to make high-tech understandable to the general public. Their creative ideas. And how fast they can turn a complex project around. They were fast, polished, and creative in the workflow.
