I’m the principal and co-founder of a digital marketing firm. We’re based in Center City, Philadelphia but we work all over the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with Global Bilingual Solutions?

We needed them to translate our client’s website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Global Bilingual Solutions translated a client’s English website into Spanish. We sent them a document of the copy on Google, and they sent it back to us in Spanish. It was a one-off project. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with Karla (CEO & Founder) and two other people from their team.

How did you come to work with Global Bilingual Solutions?

I’ve known Karla for a long time through networking. She has great people working for her and they’re a global company. Their cost of service was also average, so we chose them to work on our project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project began in January 2015. It took about 4–6 weeks to complete.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were absolutely happy with the work they did. They’re a great team of professionals who understand the needs of companies like ours that face challenges in language translation. 

How did Global Bilingual Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management approach was great. There wasn’t a lot left to be desired as far as what we were looking for — they did what they came to do. We didn’t have much back-and-forth communication since they just translated the document that we sent over via Google. It was a clear scope of work, and they delivered on that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Global Bilingual Solutions was professional and communicative. Their pricing was very fair. The work they do may be considered a commodity since there are a lot of people who do it, but when you know and trust someone who can deliver, you’ll just want to keep working with them. We haven’t had translation needs since this project; otherwise, we would’ve reached out to them again.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any constructive feedback. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s a straightforward proposition. Approach them with a finite scope of work and documents that need to be translated. They handle all languages. There are regions with nuances in colloquial and vernacular language, so it would be helpful to let them know your target audience.
