I'm the co-founder and COO at Firedome, the Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) for IoT devices solves the biggest gap in securing devices in enterprise networks.

We hired G2Mteam to help with all our marketing needs. This included our marketing collateral, events, website, and content. G2Mteam acted at our entire marketing team during that time until we hired a product marketing manager who worked closely with G2Mteam.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I received very positive recommendations from a founder and another executive at a bigger corporation who worked with Einav and her team. Both people I appreciate and trust, and after talking with Einav and Tsipi I decided to work with them.

Einav and her team had an initial half day f2f workshop with our team to understand our product, market, ICP, goals etc. After that they came with a plan and we had worked together on a weekly basis to review the plan and priorities, adjust it if needed and work accordingly. We together decided on the areas where her team should focus based on the ever changing startup journey. We had initially focused on key marketing assets - website, one pager, sales deck, investor decks etc. Afterwards expanded the plan to events (planning and execution) and online marketing - social, blogs and eventually building an inbound marketing machine.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were very happy with G2Mteam. As a young startup, and a founder with limited marketing experience their service allowed me to instantly onboard an experienced marketing team specialized in delivering results for the seed stage startup with a small marketing budget.

G2Mteam worked on our website, social profiles, social media, blogs, events and all other marketing collateral. We had a strong brand and we achieved very strong brand awareness during the time we worked together.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. G2mteam have a structured method to plan and execute marketing plans. We had weekly calls as well as constant communication with the team. Lilach acted as part of our team and went above and beyond to support our goals. It never felt like an agency counting hours but more of a partner committed to our success.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with their understanding of seed-stage startup marketing needs as well as their incredible commitment to their customers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At the end of our relationship we started to work on building an inbound machine, that effort was less successful than the other marketing areas provided by G2Mteam, thought we might have been able to come to better result have we continued the effort and for longer.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We talked to 3 vendors we got recommendations for, run reference check on all of them and decided that the highest value and most cost effective results can be achieved with G2Mteam

• Kick off meeting
• Strategy meeting where we went over our solution in details, watched some videos of sales calls, and defined the goals of the project.
• Research stage - G2Mteam prepared a detailed presentation with strategy, competitors analysis, keywords analysis, and market trends. With recommendations on a work plan we should execute. We ran another process of fine tune our messaging and our website to fit the campaign needs. After we agreed on the scope G2Mteam prepared a detailed weekly work plan with everything needed to be done on a weekly basis (3 months ahead), including content prioritization, social activities and other activities like online polls.
• Execution phases - G2Mteam were in charge of the end to end process, from writing a brief to the content writer and up to optimizing the online campaigns, all according to the work plan. Weekly status meetings to track the work.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project generated new leads every day, we had to find tune the campaigns and content until the quality of the leads went up to become SQLs

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly meetings to go over each week’s plans and previous week’s results. The team was available for me throughout the week and made all the necessary adjustments to achieve the goals.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was mostly impressed by the versatility of the team and their out of the box end to end service. From strategy and research through the content itself, the messaging, social media and online marketing. This is very unique

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The biggest challenge was that our industry of dev tools with a very technical product was new to the team. So I think they could have hired another more technical marketing person to help bridging the gap faster, and save some time on the learning curve.

They helped us with the branding material, content marketing - blog posts, e-books, posts on social media, SEO, email marketing, digital campaigns and sales material. They lead the implementation of our CRM and email marketing systems, from market research to full implementation and day-to-day usage. They were constantly on the look of the marketing statistics and the quality of leads that came from the various marketing activities and adjusted these activities accordingly.

We had a whole team of 2-5 marketing people working for us at any given time.

We went from $0 ARR to $2M in one and half years.

Great. We had a sync meeting every week, going over analytics and statistics and prioritize the activities for the week. Every quarter we did a more thorough meeting to define the quarter goals.

1-stop shop for all startup marketing activities. They knew precisely how the startup world works and were the best marketing vendor in Israel.

Terrible, I actually work with a number of agencies and have not just professional but actual good and enjoyable relationships working with them. G2M is the complete opposite; their workflow, service, interactions, and overall attitude were all really unpleasant.

They need to vastly improve their service They are aggressive and unpleasant, they refuse to spend a second beyond the time and very specific scope That is not how an agency specializing in startups should treat their clients
