I’m the director of design and digital for an experiential marketing company specializing in brand experiences in the physical and digital worlds.

What challenge were you trying to address with frameflow?

We engaged them for design, development, and coding services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started by providing frameflow with documentation for development and design. We also gave them a scope of work and worked closely with them. Our team came up with the design idea, and the frameflow team brought it to life. Throughout the process, they provided design suggestions. 

They used Unreal Engine to build the product. They also helped us with some coding using React.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with a project manager and the lead designer from frameflow.

How did you come to work with frameflow?

We found them through a pitching process. We’d shopped around a couple of different agencies, designers, and developers, and we felt comfortable from the offset with frameflow.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent roughly £30,000 (approximately $35,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from April–August 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measured success based on brand engagement, users entering our product, where they clicked, and how they moved around. Our key KPIs were brand engagement numbers, traffic footfall, and worldwide access; frameflow’s work achieved all our goals. Additionally, they suggested things that improved the design based on their experience, which we took on board straight away. 

How did frameflow perform from a project management standpoint?

They met deadlines and sometimes delivered ahead of time. The team was also responsive and quick to provide updates. Our initial communication was through emails, then we used Slack heavily and met regularly on video calls. We used GitHub to work collaboratively.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we had an issue, frameflow stepped in and worked over the weekend to fix it, going above and beyond our expectations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Any advice for potential customers?

Provide frameflow with all necessary information upfront, including an in-depth scope, timeline, and budgetary requirements. Make everything clear to help them.
