I am a former TV director and now run World Fixer, a global service agency in the media sector. We produce TV, branded content, corporate production and advertising for clients all over the world

I initially filmed with Frame 34 for a Discovery channel project in Turkey. Subsequently I have hired them to work alongside our clients across a range of projects

The goals are always to research well, gain reliable access to subject matter, setup the shoots smoothly and on budget and keep all crew safe

We have a range of contacts in Turkey but based on their experience and early conversations I felt extremely comfortable with Frame 34

At the start of any overseas project we engage the local producers to sound out ideas and gauge feasibility. We go through the budgeting process, research where needed and liaise during the setup of a shoot.

Once on the ground we are totally in the hands of the local producer to guide us through both logistics and the social interaction with our subjects - making sure our impact is respectful and safe whilst we gather the content we need

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Frame 34 are meticulous and efficient. At all times I know what is going on which is vital. Communication is clear

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Every time we have engaged Frame 34 the projects have been completed on budget and all our clients have been happy

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are extremely knowledgeable about everything in Turkey and having worked across everything from conflict news coverage to branded corporate content they have a dynamic approach to problem-solving. They are flexible and able to adapt to different situations

I’m the Turkey correspondent for a television news network.

What challenge were you trying to address with Frame34 - TV & PR Production?

I work with freelancers. Frame34 is my go-to for production.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Frame34 shoots, edits, and broadcast video for me for live television. They provide all the services I could need, from technology to camera people to editing software. We rent an office from them, and they have a roof position with a beautiful backdrop that works well for live shots. 

What is the team composition?

Typically, I hire a camera person and producer. Christian (Co-Founder) can work as a producer, camera operator, and editor. He also has good editorial knowledge. 

How did you come to work with Frame34 - TV & PR Production?

My broadcaster had a relationship with Christian before I came to Turkey three years ago They’d worked together for many years, and I've continued the relationship.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay about €5,000–€7,000 per month (approximately $5,400–$7,600 USD) excluding rent.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in December 2016, and I still use them on an ad hoc basis.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m extremely happy and grateful for their work across the board. They’re the best team in Turkey that I’ve come across. They’re really professional and hardworking. They know the country really well and deliver services to international standards.

How did Frame34 - TV & PR Production perform from a project management standpoint?

The team is a friendly and professional bunch. I can call any time, day or night, to get in touch with Christian. We communicate over the phone or WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a one-stop shop for anything a journalist needs in Turkey. They have the language skills, the local network, and an exceptional quality of work for any production needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve been extremely professional, and we've had a consistently positive relationship.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be specific about what exactly you need, and stay on top of it. The more you know about the process and working in Turkey, the better it will go.

This isn't one project. We've hired them many times since 2005 on a myriad of project for our clients.

They were referred to us back in 2005 by another vendor of ours in Istanbul and we've been hiring them ever since!

We've been hiring Frame34 regularly since 2005 for any projects that require high end production services throughout Turkey. Whether broadcast, corporate or "behind the scenes" Chris Feiland and his team always deliver every single time!

There are too many jobs with them to explain. We contact them and explain what our clients need and they get it done on time and on budget.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They always stay in touch with us as the job is rolling up into production and if there are ever any issues, and that's rare with our crews around the world, they always try to solve it on the spot and, if they cannot, will let me know immediately.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Again too many projects to discuss. But the last one was for a medically oriented series on CNN and they performed brilliantly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They're absolutely top-notch in every way.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are responsive, professional, courteous, thoughtful and all their production people are all the above as well as very creative.

Nope. They've got their act together all around!
