• Migration of all existing data pipelines: FSI re-engineered and migrated numerous complex
ETL/ELT pipelines to Azure Data Factory, ensuring improved performance and reliability.
• Rebuilding and optimization of reports and dashboards: Over 100 legacy BI reports and
dashboards were recreated in Power BI, enhancing usability, visual clarity, and load
performance.
• Deployment of a centralized data platform: A robust data lake and data warehouse
architecture was established in Azure, providing a single source of truth for reporting and
analytics.
• Process automation and orchestration: FSI implemented automation around data ingestion,
transformation, and reporting schedules, reducing manual intervention and improving data
freshness.
• Collaboration with our virtual team: The FSI team worked closely with stakeholders and
technical teams across different time zones, ensuring seamless coordination, transparency, and
agile delivery.
• Performance optimization: They proactively fine-tuned storage and compute resources,
optimized queries and pipelines, and introduced monitoring, leading to a 30% reduction in
cloud costs.

The drive to deliver and understand the business processes was impressive. The willingness to learn and work with people in a different culture was very rewarding. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Four Symmetrons Innovation could have done differently?

In the beginning become more "Dutch". The cultural difference in communication took some time to alligne (on both sides!) But now thats no issue anymore.
