The scope of work included undertaking a AI search visibility audit followed by content strategy to:

- Understand how our target ICPs might be using AI search tools within their buyer journey
- Map the prompts our buyer personas might be using
- See how visible our brand currently is for these prompts inside tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity
- Benchmark competitor benchmarking to see who is most visible in AI search 
- Set out a content strategy to begin to improve LLM visibility and SEO performance

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have a clear path forward for implementing a topic driven content strategy to support our organic growth in a key vertical along with an understanding of how AI search/GEO is changing SEO, and how to be ready for the future.

They clearly outlined the phases of the engagement up front and stuck to the agreed timelines, with key deliverables delivered either on time or ahead of schedule. Their documentation was clear, well-structured, and easy to act on — no fluff.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What really set FirstMotion apart was their deep specialism in AI search and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) — this wasn’t just a bolt-on to traditional SEO, it’s clearly what they’ve built their whole model around.

Their ability to break down how LLMs interpret prompts, how buyer journeys are shifting, and what that means for content and visibility — it was both strategically fresh and insanely practical. We hadn’t seen anything this forward-thinking from other vendors.

Are there any areas for improvement or something FirstMotion could have done differently?

The only area we’d call out is that, because the space they operate in (AI search + GEO) is still so new, some of the benchmarks and success metrics had to be co-developed with us as we went. That’s not necessarily a flaw — just a reflection of how fast the landscape is evolving.

In future phases, we’d love to see more automation around performance tracking or maybe tighter integration into our reporting workflows — but overall, the team was super receptive to feedback and iterated with us in real time.
