I’m a managing consultant at an IT consulting company.

We needed video production services for an end client.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Filmit.xyz provided video production services for an Apple Watch application's promotion. The team captured dynamic footage throughout a theme park, showcasing how to use the app during the customers' visit to the park. Filmit.xyz produced a one-minute video tailored for the app launch event, and the video contained 2D and 3D animations. The team used Adobe video tools to share work and Sketch to put some potential imagery and animation together.

What is the team composition?

Maxwell led the video's production, and I don't recall how many more teammates worked on the project.

How did you come to work with Filmit.xyz?

I worked with Maxwell on a video production project for a client before Filmit.xyz was a formalized company. We chose the team because of their reputation, quality of work, portfolio, and fantastic communication style.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June–September 2017; it was a one-time engagement.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The end client was extremely happy with the high-energy video produced by Filmit.xyz. The team's work quality exceeded expectations, and they were great people to work with overall.

How did Filmit.xyz perform from a project management standpoint?

Filmit.xyz delivered the work on time and communicated well. We used Slack for communication and Trello for project management. Maxwell was an expert in Adobe video tools and had his suite of animation tools to ensure the end client was happy with the work he was putting together before delivering it. We had a lot of open communication to ensure Filmit.xyz delivered exactly what the end client needed and wanted.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Maxwell was an incredible producer with unmatched skills in the filming industry.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Filmit.xyz's skills in putting together the content were fantastic. I didn't work with the team on creating the video's script, but I'd love to see their creativity in building the content that goes into the video.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for the client to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working with Filmit.xyz because although they're a new company, Maxwell and his team are beyond creative. The team brings an amazing perspective and skill to their video production, and it's worth working with them and giving them a shot. I can guarantee that whoever works with Filmit.xyz will be a returning customer.
