For what projects/services did your company hire esfose?

Our website was created over 1 years ago and had become outdated. Our development team had limited design skills, so we hired this team to provide the site design for us. By doing this, we were hoping to increase our traffic substantially by the end of the year.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for web designers in our area using Upwork. After reviewing 5 proposals, we chose this vendor because of their affordable price, industry experience, and personable team.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, we received 3 initial designs for the main page on the site. Once we chose a theme, they finalized the design and provided feedback through InVision. This allowed us to show them how we wanted the rest of the site to look. The vendor came back to us with designs for our other pages, including an updated "contact us" form.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total, we worked with 4 people including a project manager, two designers, and a QA resource during the final phase.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their documentation was thorough. Our developers were able to implement their design easily, and the overall look is much more user-friendly. Site traffic has increased by 70%, and we continue to hear positive feedback and compliements from visitors about the design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We had both in-person meetings and phone calls, but most of the feedback was through Slack. Everything was delivered on time and we received ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be met.
