I’m the owner of Aurora.ID, a furniture company that provides upholstery and interior design.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ensigncode Software?

I needed someone to help me build a website as I don’t have any experience developing one.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ensigncode Software designed and developed a website for us and implemented several features and functionalities, including a customizable solution for users to determine the types of materials they want to incorporate into their furniture.

They’ve also implemented an automated system that streamlines our customers’ orders. The requests go directly to suppliers to finalize the order and send the quote through email where the users can click to arrange their payments either through Worldplay or Stripe.

The team is currently hosting our platform on AWS and providing us with ongoing maintenance and support.

What is the team composition?

Our main points of contact are Parth (Co-Founder & CEO) and one of their developers.

How did you come to work with Ensigncode Software?

I used a tool called PeoplePerHour to make a description of the tools I wanted to implement in the development. That description then goes to a number of vendors that could bid for the project and after some consideration, I decided to hire Ensigncode Software.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent £4,000 (approximately $4,500 USD) on this project, and spend about £100 ($110 USD) on monthly maintenance.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in September 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ensigncode Software has achieved my vision and what I wanted for the website. The team worked really hard to understand how to make the platform more user-friendly and functional.

How did Ensigncode Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform well from a project management perspective, but we did experience some timing and deadline issues.

We use Monday and Trello to keep track of the project and typically communicate through email, Teams, WhatsApp, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with how they’re able to streamline and simplify the process and backend of the platform.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their time and deadline management.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise you to be clear with your ideas and be upfront with your expectations.
