BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP and half owner of Arborscapes. We’re a full-service landscape installation and maintenance company and tree and plant health care provider for commercial and residential clients in the North Carolina region.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Eleven Mass Media?

We initially met with them to develop a new website. Our old site was outdated, and it no longer matched the quality and potential of our company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Eleven Mass Media developed our website from scratch. We initially had multiple sessions with them so they’d understand our company’s inner and outer workings. Then, we determined what we needed for development and how to organize the website most effectively.

They also do PR and SEO work. They help us with some of our decisions to get more web traffic and solid reviews on Google. Overall, they work to get us to higher rankings on the search engines. Currently, we’re on a monthly retainer. They update the website, help us with our quarterly company newsletter, keep our client emails up to date with MailChimp, and more. We continuously work with them and meet them twice a month to discuss planning options.

What is the team composition?

We work with Allen (Principal); he’s excellent in our relationship. We have someone in PR, and we’ve worked with their photographer for the pictures on our website. Additionally, there’s a drone specialist for video footage, which is also featured on our website.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our partnership in November 2019, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Every month, they’ve shown us that our web traffic has significantly gone up. Also, we’re getting a lot of clients directly through our website, whereas before, we had people call us to the office. Now, the site gets us a lot of activity because people see it and want us to work with them just for how professional it looks.

How did Eleven Mass Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fantastic. The team has delivered everything they’ve said they’d do, and they’re great with deadlines.

We communicate via email, phone calls, or even in-person meetings. Depending on what we’ll speak about, sometimes a few of our managers from different divisions meet with them to discuss the strategy or project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re excellent at making our company’s image shine. Our company was remarkable before they started working with us, but the website makes us look like an astonishingly professional company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any constructive feedback; they do everything well. They might be busy, but they prioritize us when we need them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Without marketing or public presence, you won’t be able to really succeed. If you need a website or PR and SEO work, I’d absolutely recommend them, especially if you’re trying to grow your business.
