BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of Air Language, an education company. We provide an English learning system tailored to each individual learner.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Effycient LLC to accomplish for your English learning system?

We hired Effycient LLC to build our prototype and maintain the system. They’ve gone above and beyond, building the initial infrastructure and iterating as our company goals have evolved.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Effycient LLC has built an MVP, integrated AI, created an image-based LMS that’s customizable, built out several different portals for different types of users, integrated voice, and launched mobile apps on Google Play and the App Store. They’re directly responsible for development, design, and deployment.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–5 teammates from Effycient LLC.

How did you come to work with Effycient LLC?

We found them through an incubator. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit and their company values aligned with ours.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The measurable outcomes have been client success and system efficiency. Client success has been demonstrated when new clients continue to pilot the system. We’ve also reduced workload units for the same job by over 50% due to data-focused decision-making. Additionally, we’ve onboarded 200+ new pilots in a very short period of time.

How did Effycient LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management with Effycient LLC puts communication as a premium. They ensure we know what’s happening every step of the way and build structures that are simple yet productive and scrutinized. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive part has been how they’ve been able to accommodate my every need as I’ve built my business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The prototyping of one structure early on could have been vetted a bit more closely.
