The app was rescued and shipped before our launch deadline without a full rebuild. Every bug we knew about was identified, prioritized, and fixed. The team also caught issues during their audit that we hadn't even noticed yet.

The biggest measurable outcome was the cost saving. We were ready to start over from scratch, which would have cost us tens of thousands of dollars and pushed our launch back by months. The QA-first approach proved that wasn't necessary.

The eclipt  team ran a proper QA audit first, found that the app could actually be saved, and told us the truth. They saved us a huge amount of money by doing the right thing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something eclipt.ai could have done differently?

We needed a cross-platform mobile app (iOS and Android) for nightlife venue discovery, plus a web-based CMS for venue management.

Key deliverables included: 
- A Flutter mobile app with map-based venue browsing, user profiles, and a custom recommendation algorithm that suggests venues based on user preferences 
- Google Maps integration with live venue locations and filtering
- A web CMS built with Next.js so venue owners can manage their listings, photos, and details - A backend API built with Nest.js to power the recommendation engine and handle all app data 
- Full UI/UX design, including a major redesign mid-project after we tested the first version and wanted changes - App Store and Google Play submission 

The entire project was delivered in 8 weeks from kickoff to launch.

The app was delivered within the 8-week timeline, including a major mid-project design pivot that was handled without any delays or additional costs. Both the iOS and Android versions were published to the app stores on schedule. The custom recommendation algorithm was built and integrated successfully, which was the core feature we needed to validate our product-market fit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something eclipt.ai could have done differently?

Nothing major. If we had to pick something, it would be nice to have had more detailed documentation at the end of the project for when we eventually handed things off to an in-house team. But honestly, the code was clean and well-organized, so it wasn't a real issue.
