I think there was a learning curve as it related to the CPG space.  That gap was solved by working closely on the way the data should be reported versus what may have been assumed.  An example:  we review velocity at the SKU level and the first output was more of a total brand view.

The goal here was to help me create a dashboard that would originally help with my own practices, however, that quickly shifted to creating a product for all dental practices on a specific software. it took us a long time to create very complex calculations that truly defined the kpi's to run this business from all positions of operations - from entry level to c-level reporting and we put it all in one dashboard that could truly dive deep. 
what we ended up creating is the best product in a very competitive market to the point that prior to launch - during beta - we signed contracts with the biggest potential distrubitors of the product including the software that it was built on top of (which is rare).

Dynamic Data was tasked with implementing for the first time at our company a modern, cloud-based data analytics and business intelligence stack across the enterprise. This included deploying Snowflake as the central data warehouse, Fivetran for seamless data ingestion, and DBT for automating data transformations. The team designed high-performance data pipelines to support real-time analytics, enabling the organization to scale from 200 to 1,000 users. They also implemented Tableau as the primary BI tool, with Sigma added as a supplemental platform to enhance user experience and accessibility, especially for non-technical users. Additionally, the team set up governance frameworks to ensure secure, consistent access to data.

The integration of Zenlytic AI further improved user interaction with the BI tools, offering a chatbot solution for real-time data queries and report generation. This helped users quickly obtain insights and reduced the need for manual support. The team also focused on scalability, ensuring that the infrastructure could handle increased usage while maintaining performance. To facilitate ongoing development and deployment, they implemented a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub for version control, automated testing, and streamlined updates to the system.

Better Ops Efficiency:
The team helped optimize our routes and bring visibility to service appointment activity with real-time data from FSL displayed in Tableau and Sigma dashboards. This cut down on unnecessary trips, stops, missed services and service technician demand - improving overall operational efficiency.

Boosted Sales Performance:
The team helped integrate Salesforce sales data into Tableau, giving us real-time insights into customer trends, sales performance, and progress towards goals. This allowed the sales team to identify orders in need of more services, hand washing stations or increased service frequency.

Seamless Financial Reporting Migration:
We migrated all P&L financial reporting from Adaptive Insights to Tableau, streamlining reporting and improving data accuracy across hundreds of users.  This shift reduced the time spent on report generation by 30% especially during month closing procedures, giving the finance team more time to focus on strategic analysis and decision-making.

Our project is ongoing. The initial phase was to evaluate what we already had in place and look to improve it. Then look at how we might reimagine it's entire structure for better scalability in the futgure.

The project involves a large and evergrowing amount of data, from various sources including websites and spreadsheets. The challenges are the inconsistencies in the data - both by nature (the data itself is anomoulous by its nature); and also inconsistencies due to error during the capture, ingesting, or merging processes.

The key initial deliveries were simply to improve what we have; the larger scope is rebuilding the solution in a way that will be more reliable and less manual.

The team worked primarily on dbt/snowflake creating tests and recreating new pipelines along with several Power BI apps to help visualize, access, and audit the data.

We engaged Dynamic Data to develop a solution that could be rapidly deployed within the company’s existing systems architecture and easily maintained and enhanced by our internal data and analytics team.  Key deliverables for the project included:

Each of the project objectives was achieved on time and within budget. The system was deployed and adopted broadly across org. Additionally, the time to generate and the accuracy of monthly reporting and analysis was greatly improved. For example, on key performance report on retention went from taking 4-5 days to 2 days.
