For what projects/services did your company hire Dresden Partners?

We wanted to expand our engineering hiring to Mexico and hired Dresden to help with full lifecycle recruitment in this market. They have been working on a variety of roles including: -Mid to senior level software engineers (front end, back end, full stack) -Mobile software engineers (iOS and Android) -Infrastructure Engineers / SREs

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We spoke with a few firms that were local to the market or had experience with staffing in MX. Dresden was quick to reply to my initial outreach, they had good communication and seemed knowledgeable and up to date with recent technologies. They have been honest about what type of talent we will be able to find in the market, and the roles we will likely not have much success finding - quickly gaining trust. They've also been able to help by providing compensation guidance for the type of talent we're looking for.

Full life-cycle recruitment for the technology positions mentioned previously. The team sources, pre-screens and sends candidates profiles to us. They work directly with our internal recruitment team and hiring managers to partner with the candidate through the entire interview process.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Hired 3 FT employees to date, and have provided guidance for entering into a new market

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It took us a few weeks to determine the best process for both of our teams given the limitations of working with our ATS (Greenhouse) but we have a great system in place with our teams now. There's a great workflow in place and we use Slack, email, google sheets, and Greenhouse to communicate quickly and move candidates through the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're very responsive, knowledgable, honest, and upfront with expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the beginning it took both of our companies a few weeks to find a workflow that worked well, but things have been running very smooth ever since we both found a solution on this.

They’ve been working as our HR services partner for the last 5–7 years.

Their team provides us with IT staff augmentation services, mostly oriented to service desks.

We’ve worked with 5–6 people from their team, including their CEO.

How did you come to work with Dresden Partners?

They were already working with the company when I was hired, so I honestly don’t know how the process to hire them was. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent at least  $1 million USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since January 2015, and our collaboration is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure the success of our collaboration based on how many employees we end up hiring with their help. That being said, we’ve had good results with them so far.

How did Dresden Partners perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication and project management skills have been outstanding. They use their own project management tools, such as Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We work with different partners, but they have a great network — they’re the agency that always sends us the most candidates for a single position. Their great communication skills are also one of their biggest strengths.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly can’t think of anything; they are one of our top service providers.

Contact their CEO — he is very helpful and will be great at helping you get a clear picture of your needs and requirements.
