Please describe your company and your position there.

Engmark Ltd are a new up and coming creative marketing agency for UK manufacturing and engineering companies and I am the Sales & Operations Director.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire DrakonFX?

To come to a clients site and photograph their services and video the production.

What were your goals for this project?

To end up with with a range of photo's to use on our own website as a portfolio of work and to use on the clients website to showcase their services. To also be supplied with a 1 minute show-reel video, fully edited with music and captions.

SOLUTION

How did you select DrakonFX?

We found them through a network of business people. After discussing work with them we felt they had the equipment, knowledge and motivation to make this work.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

To come on site, organise the workshop and film various aspects of manufacture. It was a difficult one as our client was not well prepared (our fault not DragonFX). DragonFX then proceeded to work with our client, understanding their process and organising a way to show of how a machined component came to life. The video itself was put together very professionally, with great music and "slow mo" where necessary.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

As well as myself, the end client had 2 people involved, the MD and a CNC machine operator. After returning to office their was great communication from DragonFX as to how to put the video together.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have personally spent 20 years in engineering marketing and look at engineering videos on a daily basis. Considering this was one of the first times DragonFX was in this environment - I must say the vide came out amazing! We do not have any metrics on the results yet but we, and the end client will be using it on our websites and for various social media campaigns.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was absolutely brilliant! From day one DragonFX worked with us to understand the process and the client really enjoyed having them on site. The video was delivered on-time to a high quality.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

There are a few things I could mention... However it was the team itself. They made our client feel at ease, took control of the shoot and produced a great video.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At this stage - its us that needs to improve in order to get the best out of DragonFX. They taught us what we need to do before the we get to a client.
