BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I work as a director and cinematographer at a video production company. My company provides video production & fixing services to filmmakers, journalists, and production companies wanting to film in South Korea.

For what projects/services did your company hire Double Vision Media Liaisons, and what were your goals?

Double Vision Media Liaisons was hired to provide a sound recordist and sound gear for a TV episode. We needed a sound recordist who could record high quality sound for 3~4 characters across various live locations.

How did you select Double Vision Media Liaisons and what were the deciding factors?

They were recommended to me by word of mouth. When meeting him he was polite, helpful and willing to work within the tight schedule of the project.

We started with a production meeting where we explained the scope of the work that needed to be done. Double Vision Media Liaisons explained their approach to providing the highest quality sound within the constraints of the project.

They attended further meetings to provide relevant information that was needed to better schedule the the project. During production, they worked quickly and efficiently, while optimizing for the highest quality recoding.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with the sound recordist in person during pre-production and production. He we polite and friendly to work with on set, while being firm on spending enough setup time to record the highest quality sound.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was completed to the satisfaction of the director and executive producers and is currently in the sales process.

Double Vision Media Liaisons was quick to reply to messages and attended all in person preproduction meetings. They were punctual and well prepared on filming days.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The sound recordist offered solutions to problems that arose of set such as construction sounds interfering with the audio recordings. They were quickly able to provide a workable solution which allowed the shoot to stay on schedule.
