I’m the head of marketing at Passion.io, the #1 mobile app builder for coaches and creators. Users can combine interactive content, communities, and features to create their own mobile app.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Discovered Labs?

We needed to grow our organic traffic through SEO and AI SEO (AEO).

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Discovered Labs did a complete SEO and AEO audit and overhauled our massive website according to SEO best practices, which included hundreds of actions. After that, they published 25 articles per month.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Discovered Labs.

How did you come to work with Discovered Labs?

We connected with Liam previously through his work growing SaaS brands. When he offered to work with us on AEO, we knew we could trust him.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2025 to March 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Discovered Labs published 26 articles and increased our blog traffic by 25% in November 2025. We also saw a 150% increase in our top performers, an AI referral traffic increase of 35.5% in new users and 39.5% in total users, and 12 clicks and 713 impressions on our Black Friday blog post. We also saw a 7% increase in self-reported attribution from LLMs and a 13% increase from Google.

Moreover, in less than 90 days, our Google Search Console impressions increased from 3,000 to 12,500 (+4x), clicks increased from 8 to 33 (+3.5x), and average position increased from 15.9 to 8.3 (page 2 to page 1).

Regarding AI search metrics, our average rank in AI answers increased from 1.44 to 1.38, mention rate increased from 15.6% to 17.5%, citation rate increased from 23.8% to 26.3%, share of voice increased from 21% to 25.6%, owned citations increased from 472 to 755, and earned citations increased from 68 to 82.

How did Discovered Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Discovered Labs was hardworking and got everything done. At the time, they didn’t have a public dashboard where we could easily see upcoming articles, but they were responsive on Slack regarding their work and answering questions. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Discovered Labs’ expertise was impressive. They were a small group of smart, hungry marketers who knew how SEO and AEO worked.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have improved their dashboards and asynchronous reports.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I notice a lot more customers come through LLMs. A lot of people were hopping on calls and our company was being referred to them by GPT, and Gemini.
