I'm the marketing manager at frogg toggs, a retail company. We design and manufacture affordable, high-performance outerwear and gear using advanced materials and technology to protect outdoor enthusiasts from harsh weather conditions.

What challenge were you trying to address with DigitlHaus Agency?

We needed help with the design and development of our new Shopify website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DigitlHaus Agency helped us create a website that would provide a better shopping experience for our customers. The team handled the pre-design and strategy phases. Then, they designed the home page, collection page templates, and master landing page template.

After that, they moved on to the pre-development phase. From there, they did the frontend and backend development, custom features, and custom apps. The team also did quality assurance and testing. They coordinated meetings with any third-party services we needed, such as Gorgias and Return Logic. They also assisted in providing information regarding these additional services.

What is the team composition?

We had one main contact, Hannah (Project Manager), and several others who worked along with her on various parts of the project.

How did you come to work with DigitlHaus Agency?

We found them through a referral from Shopify. We chose them because they were the best fit for what we needed. They also had experience with other third parties that were needed for a smooth transition to Shopify. They seemed to be the most organized, and they had clear communication about what was required to build the site we wanted.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August 2024–June 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've had an easy transition from SuiteCommerce to Shopify. Our site has functioned well, and the initial feedback from customers has been positive. Customers have said that the site looks great and is easy to use.

How did DigitlHaus Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

The experience was good. They managed the timeline and development of the new site very efficiently. The team was responsive to any questions or concerns we had, and Hannah always responded very quickly. We primarily communicated through email and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The overall project organization was impressive. The tasks for our teams were easy to follow. If we didn't understand a task or exactly what was needed, we were always given thorough instructions on how to complete it.

Our goal is to provide engaging, educational, and entertaining kitchen environments for team building and social gatherings.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DigitlHaus Agency updated our theme and redesigned our website, making it an evolution of our previous site. The goal was to make the site look and feel more modern. To achieve this, we updated the colors, created a new homepage, revamped the landing pages, and increased backend functionality. Additionally, the team provided SEO services and big-coach support along the way.

We were referred to DigitlHaus Agency by another agency. The team came off as confident and trustworthy and had our best interests in mind.

We worked together from spring 2024–2025. The full year was due to some changes on our end, and the engagement is ongoing with BigCommerce support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen increased user functionality and a more modern look and feel. Our team loves the new look and feel of the site. They also like that we can control more on the homepage, which has increased sales for one of our business units. Additionally, we’ve seen a decreased bounce rate.

DigitlHaus Agency delivered on time and responded well to our needs. The team had fast response times when it was crunch time, and we always knew what was going on. We held weekly touchpoints, which helped keep the project moving.

DigitlHaus Agency was able to help and guide us through all of our questions. The design process was super buttoned up, and the team delivered a look and feel that we loved, which came to life really well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a few bumps in the road when they delivered some design features that required extra development time. However, we worked through that and ended up in a place that we all felt good about.

We hired DH to completely redesign our Bigcommerce theme and get us on the Stencil framework. They handled the design/mockups and development.

The overall process took longer than I expected, but it was within the timeframe they laid out - so they met the deadlines

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is hard to find quality design/development agencies that work with Bigcommerce stores. It's common for the initial design to look good but when it comes down to the details, there can be a lot to be desired. I came upon a store that DH designed and was immediately struck by how nicely it was designed and developed through and through.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DigitlHaus Agency could have done differently?

Occasionally there were some communication issues between myself, the project manager, and the developers (you do not communicate with the devs directly), but nothing major.
