When the project started, the app development was split into several teams and the client needed additional help from skilled engineers who could facilitate front-end development. Our developers together with Devapo’s team were the perfect choice to fill these gaps and were responsible for the development of the banking application interface. Devapo engineer was also entrusted with the development and maintenance of the component library and system design so that the teams building the application could follow consistent guidelines.

The application is created in monorepo - a collection of smaller applications that are related. This allows easier refactoring of the code, having support from the IDE. Project comprised a tech stack of Type Script, React, Nest.Java Script,,NX, MUI, Matomo, Strapi, Storybook, React testing Library and Jest.

• The project is still on track, but we deliver each implementation within budget and always on time, in many cases even faster, without sacrificing code quality.

The Devapo team was hired to perform integrations with third-party providers to make their games available at Genesis Casino. The role of the developers was integration, maintenance and development.

Devapo was recommended by a representative of a cooperating company - Devopsbay. The main factors were technical skills as also the understanding of third parties vendor integrations.

Devapo was responsible for the games integration part. During the project, Devapo showed great commitment and proactivity, what resulted in different areas of improvement eg. scalability improvement, splitting code into modules and microservices. Main duties were related to system development, integration with third parties vendors, integration of delivered solutions with the core of system and their maintenance. Used technology stack : Java, Spring Boot, Cloud, Pub-Sub, Kubernetes.

During the cooperation, we have been supported with seven software developers from Devapo in different time frames, who were part of the integration team.

Total integration time with Game Providers was totally reduced almost to 50% in the late project phases what resulted with significant reduction time to market product delivery.

Project was driven in Agile culture with a strong emphasis on delivering business value over a specific period of time. The timelines were regularly met. Daily communication was based on regulary online meetings, slack messaging and Jira project updating.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very good and transparent level of communication with all team members and their superiors. From the perspective of everyday work, it was completely unnoticeable that I work with a group of people from an external company.

No areas for significant improvement were identified.

We wanted to redesign our website so that we could showcase and promote our offerings to our target audience. We hired them to do the UI/UX design of the site.

Our project lasted for about three months, from December 2021–February 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re still in the final development phase, so it's hard to talk about the metrics since the website isn’t live yet. However, we really appreciated the quality of Devapo’s work. They were also quick to understand our needs, organize meetings, and guide us through the entire process.

How did Devapo perform from a project management standpoint?

The project was executed effectively and completed in a timely manner; we had no delays. For communication, we mainly interacted through online meetings, Slack, and emails. We really loved the way they facilitated conversations between different stakeholders.

We were impressed with their UI/UX design experience, teamwork, and professional approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

None — we were very happy with the outcome.

Together we are building the most advance insurance platform based on the newest technology stack including the newest Angular, .NET Core and Python. The whole solution use the Kubernetes orchestration and micro-services approach.

The product works, has been completed, and is being used by the client. Work is going smoothly, there are always some changes and discussions despite architectural changes. The client is very satisfied.

We used Jira and Confluence. Deadlines were flexible that resulted from this scrum style of project management. They delivered everything as agreed.

With 48 branches and 28 sub-branches in different regions of Azerbaijan, the bank provides universal banking services to private and corporate clients. The number of legal entities served by the bank is about 18,000, and the number of individuals served totals more than 1.3 million. The bank employs more than 1,863 people Devapo’s involvement in the project is to prepare a new architecture for integrating systems within the bank.

There was not a single negative escalation, everything: from contact to project execution was handled by Devapo, we were more of an intermediary. The end customer was very happy, everything was completed on time. Work from the client was outsourced to us and from us to Devapo. We and the client had revenue, we are satisfied.

If there were any difficulties they were solved by Devapo.Contact was mainly by email and phone. We also always received our job reports on time.

Everything was delivered on time and in good quality, and we are very satisfied. Very pleasant contact, honesty, openness, communicating about really important things.They communicated with us about sales opportunities, which was really helpful. Hassle-free project.

Up-selling, there was a chance to bring new people into the project, but it didn't work out. Devapo could have negotiated more. On the one hand we could help with that, but on the other hand Devapo could go directly to the customer.
