I’m the owner and founder of a law firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Detail’d Creative Agency?

We celebrated our 10th anniversary this year, and we’d never engaged a professional team to help with our brand appearance. I wanted to bring on a partner who could help me craft a more robust brand vision and identity for my personal and professional brands.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Detail’d Creative provided me with a questionnaire, and we began the project with a brand strategy call that lasted about two hours. They interviewed me based on my responses and inquired about my clients and the message I wanted the brand to convey. I wanted to ensure that my personal and professional brands were like cousins or sisters, which I shared with the head designer. 

One week later, they put together a brand strategy document, which they presented and reviewed with me. They’ve created logo identities, brand marks, color palettes, and fonts for my main brand and sub-brand. Additionally, they’ve made marketing collateral, including a client onboarding guide, a welcome guide for our signature program, and a brochure. 

Detail’d Creative used a purple color palette for my personal branding, which they also incorporated into the professional branding to link the two. After they did the initial branding work, I signed up for their retainer package, which includes five hours of design work per month. They’ve since designed magnets, buttons, banners, and other things to make our brands more visually appealing.

How did you come to work with Detail’d Creative Agency?

I was searching for brand strategists on Instagram and followed Detail’d Creative. They stood out to me because they showcased their portfolio and shared educational content, so I reached out. We scheduled an initial call, which went well, so we decided to move forward with the project.  

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested $5,500 in the partnership with Detail’d Creative.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working Detail'd Creative in May 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have hard metrics, but I decided to continue with Detail’d Creative for the monthly design retainer because we received significant traffic at a nursing conference due to our branding. Many people came to our table asking for our bags and other marketing materials. I attribute our traffic to Erin and the visual handouts she created. 

How did Detail’d Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Detail’d Creative has been excellent when it comes to project management. They executed a seamless onboarding process, which I enjoyed. As soon as we signed the contract, they invited me to a client portal on ClickUp. We use the portal to communicate, set expectations, and track hours. 

Erin is detail-oriented and keeps me informed about my projects, making me feel comfortable. They’ve set up the platform to notify me of progress regarding each project phase. I can also ask questions using the portal, which they respond to quickly, so I know what’s happening at all times. The portal also has videos that show me how to set up requests. 

Even with the monthly retainer, I can use the portal to make requests, view status updates, and track which work the five design hours are going towards. We schedule meetings via Acuity and meet via Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been really impressed with how they took our initial conversation to find my brand’s voice and develop something that lived in my head into a reality. 

For our initial branding, they didn’t make a lot of revisions, and the only change I requested was for a sub-logo, which they showed me many options for. They’ve been able to articulate my thoughts into a concrete brand, which I’ve never seen before. 

They’ve dedicated a high level of detail and professionalism to the project, which has been nice. Erin’s done everything she promised; as a matter of fact, she typically finishes requests ahead of time. I’m not sure another brand strategist could’ve done our branding as successfully as Detail’d Creative has. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing they could improve on; they’ve done great work. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I advise meeting with Erin to ensure your personalities align; then, hire Detail’d Creative because they do great work. Erin will really listen to you; don’t let her quietness and shy demeanor fool you or discourage you from working with her because she understands what she’s doing.
