I'm the founder of EZHR, an HR resources company. We provide SMEs with a customizable HR subscription service, offering easy access to essential HR documents and support through an online portal. We ensure straightforward and flexible solutions tailored to each business's needs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Designed For Humans?

I wanted a site to act as an MVP and a scalable solution that users could navigate.

What was the scope of work?

We hired Designed For Humans to create an MVP for our initial website and members site. The goal was to have a site that could grow with us and be priced in a way that if the MVP didn’t work, we could rebuild without breaking the bank.

The MVP included self-service and sign-up for new users, a members area, and the ability to download documents from a library system.

We were recommended to Designed For Humans through an associate. They came up with a smart plan that didn’t over-engineer the solution. The team was practical and thought about the user.

The MVP was delivered on time, and users found it easy to use. Users continued to use it with ease, and we received positive feedback. The team refined and improved the language we used and how we structured the documents.

We brainstormed our tech strategy as it pertains to customer retention and acquisition as well as brand building and marketing efficiency to establish three projects: 1) IOS/Android app for Blake Mill enthusiasts (2) Podcasting programme (3) AI driven model imagery. Paul worked remotely and in person with us to get the first IOS/Android app ready for submission to Apple and Google. 
He got us set up on the platforms for podcasting and did our first podcast with us and finally he worked on several AI engines to generate lifelike model imagery for our yet to be launched products enabling us to present them  in a significantly more market friendly/appealing manner.

Ghost Posts is an AI-powered service designed to help individuals and organisations turn their thoughts, notes and musings into polished written content. Designed for Humans was brought in to craft the brand identity, shape the user experience, and support the launch of a digital-first product rooted in human-centred AI.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The brand landed really well, everyone we tested it with remembered the name and got the concept straight away. Within a week or two, our social traffic had spiked, with profile views up 500% across LinkedIn.

The site did exactly what we needed it to: people stuck around, read the content, and signed up with an average time on page of nearly 2 minutes and a conversion rate over ~10%.

Internally, the brand framework saved us a ton of time. It gave us the words and visuals to move quickly. We published over 20 pieces of content in the first few weeks without second-guessing ourselves.

We had paying users within a fortnight and got invited to speak at events almost straight away.

Everything Designed for Humans delivered helped us show up with confidence and consistency, and we’ve been able to keep building from there without having to reinvent the wheel.

Really organised, responsive and easy to work with. Paul in particular delivered everything on time, often ahead of schedule, and was quick to adapt when our needs shifted. Even with some unusual requests, nothing felt like too much trouble—they just got on with it and made things happen.

What stood out most was the level of care they put into everything. Not just the big stuff, but the small details too. We felt as though they really listened and understood what we were trying to build, and translated it into something that felt true to us.

What was the scope of work done?

Designed For Humans redesigned our logo, colour scheme, and typefaces. Essentially, they created the root of a style guide. We wanted something less ugly and more modern.

Designed For Humans delivered nicely packaged style guides. They helped us use our logo quickly and start applying the design rules to other things. I wasn't embarrassed about it anymore; it was modern and sleek.
