We engaged Definitely Real because we were struggling to do everything we knew we needed to do, with a small team and limited resources. We brought them on to handle community management on socials, the design/creation/execution of social content, design for merch and event signage, and brand messaging. Key deliverables involved a certain amount of posts for our platforms per month, full branding guides and guidelines, and partnership management documents outlining who we were engaging with and how often.

• 41% total organic audience growth across all social channels
• 31.5% of UGC and UGC-style content curated and created
• 34.7% increase in organic content engagement rate across channels compared to when we started working with DRA

They always delivered on time and reliably, and always communicated either via email/slack/text if something urgent needed to be shifted. They also made great use of project management tools (Clickup at the time) to keep things in order and to increase visibility for our team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Working with The Social Circle on social strategy, community engagement, and partnership management was an incredible experience! The team had our back every single day even during some chaotic times as a company, and were always quick to jump in and get their hands dirty. They were a huge part of our social and community growth and I'd definitely recommend working with them if you have a chance!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their team to any brand looking to take themselves much more seriously and to the next level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Definitely Real could have done differently?

One thing I would say is that at times it felt like we were talking in too many places when it came to ClickUp vs Slack vs Airtable, so finding the one source within all those would have made it easier on our team especially since some of the people on the team aren't used to jumping into multiple tools to keep track. Consolidating and finding a source of truth for communication would have been a great addition to our workflow with them at the time.

Over the last year, we have built out our internal marketing team as the company grows, but we retain The Social Circle to oversee our media buying, email and SMS marketing, and associated graphic design. They have been partners to our business through thick and thin since early 2021, and have completed multiple specific projects that include but are not limited to:

• Website rebuild
