**The Review** — Dec 12, 2024

**Feedback Summary**: DAIS has successfully delivered all branding elements, which have been inspiring and fit the client's company well. So far, the team has met deadlines, stayed on budget, and managed the project with Smartsheet. The team's performance and sound brand reasoning have led to the client's satisfaction.
""They have successfully done everything we engaged them in; it has been a big project.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the COO of a law firm.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with DAIS?We were operating under another brand and needed support to identify a new brand and develop it.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?DAIS has helped develop our brand identity. First, we met with all the key stakeholders and did an identification and brainstorming session to determine our identity and who we are. Then, once this was cleared up, the team got to work. They have created the new brand from scratch, including the name, colors, collaterals, print materials, and digital elements. They've presented, developed, and helped us implement these deliverables. On the other hand, DAIS has supported the development of a website and built the required wireframes. What is the team composition? We have worked with the principal, a project manager, and someone from the design team. How did you come to work with DAIS?Once we decided to rebrand, we had to do a vendor selection to identify a branding company. We talked with a specialist who helped us with that process. This consultant recommended DAIS; he said they were the best, so we engaged them. We got in touch, and DAIS did an introductory session with us.What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in March 2024, and the engagement is ongoing, although we're in its final stages.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? They have delivered all the branding elements we requested, and we have largely accepted what they have created. However, we’ve only just launched, so there are no metrics yet.Nevertheless, we have liked how DAIS has established our brand's name and their reasoning behind it, given that it is consistent with who we are and matches all the exploratory work we’ve done and our identity. Basically, they have successfully done everything we engaged them in; it has been a big project. All base work is completed thanks to their efforts to get our brand running. We have now contacted specialist lawyers to handle the brand's trademark application itself. How did DAIS perform from a project management standpoint? So far, DAIS has met deadlines and stayed on budget. We have used Smartsheet to manage the project. Regarding communication, we have had both in-person and virtual meetings. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?I’d like to shout out Jack and Mataya. What did you find most impressive about them? The design concept and name they have crafted are inspiring and fit our company's identity well. Are there any areas they could improve? They have had a few internal staffing challenges and occasional communication challenges. Otherwise, the experience has been good; I have no suggestions.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Be really clear about your company's identity and what it stands for to ensure your desired brand is suitable and fits your needs.

**The Review** — May 7, 2024

**Feedback Summary**: The client was satisfied with the fantastic new branding created by DAIS, which received positive feedback after the first acceptance testing. The team offered excellent project management, availability, and impressive turnaround times, using email, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams to communicate.
""Their turnaround times and effectiveness were impressive.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the COO of an insurance brokerage.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with DAIS?We were celebrating 50 years in business, so we wanted to do a full rebranding to update our assets.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?DAIS helped us go through a full rebranding, which included redoing our logo, website, and marketing materials to convey a new look and feel while acknowledging our 50 anniversary. Initially, we had a workshop to generate our sales pitch and describe why we were unique and different from our competitors. Then, we worked together with DAIS and our internal group to define who our customer base was and what type of brands resonated with them. After that, DAIS created a more design-focused image of our brand, as opposed to a traditional community brokerage image. The process was iterative so that our internal group could see that what DAIS created aligned to what we wanted. After the workshop, we went through a branding image that really didn't work out or resonate with our customer base. Thus, we went through a second branding image, from which all the new branding collateral emerged, such as the new logo and website. Other materials included letter, communication,  and PowerPoint templates, all of which were designed by DAIS. The new website was built in WordPress.Throughout the process, we also looked at renaming the company. However, we wanted to trademark the new name, and the options we wanted were already taken. After looking at alternative names, we ended up retaking our existing name. What is the team composition? We worked with four of their teammates, including Mataya (Senior Account Manager). How did you come to work with DAIS?We had seen some of their previous work. Additionally, we saw that DAIS was based in the same state where our core group was running the project, so we went with them. How much have you invested with them?We spent around $100,000 AUD (approximately $66,000 USD).What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them around March 2023, and the project was completed in May 2024.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?DAIS' work was fantastic, and the outcome was very positive. We've used external parties to test our new branding, and we know that the launch will be very positive. Moreover, the new website worked well, as we didn't experience any crashes. How did DAIS perform from a project management standpoint?DAIS' project management was exceptional. They offered really efficient turnaround times and were always available. We predominantly communicated via email, but we also had a few Zoom and face-to-face meetings. They've even flown to us to present some things in person. about 70% of our communication was via email, 27% was via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and the rest was in person. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?I would like to give a shout-out to Mataya. What did you find most impressive about them?DAIS made sure that they really understood our business before doing the rebranding, so the brand concepts they created matched our business strategy. Moreover, their turnaround times and effectiveness were impressive. Overall, DAIS really walks the talk as to what they do. Their own brand is fantastic, and their presentations had nice touches. What they try to install within their clients' businesses, they do it in their own business. Are there any areas they could improve? There was nothing DAIS could have improved on. As mentioned, we weren't happy with the first concepts, but they never tried to push us, make us accept them, or get offended. They were happy to start over again because it wasn't the right fit for us.Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?Ensure that you put an adequate amount of time into the project. If you want to outsource someone to do it all, they first need to understand your business, so you need to share that information to get the right result. Understand that you'll be working together and that no one is going to do the whole process on their own.

I also think that the way DAIS presents conceptual designs by overlaying them onto existing assets helps people understand what it will look and feel like in our world rather than feeling abstract. Are there any areas for improvement or something DAIS could have done differently? In summary, I'd say this project has been delivered flawlessly. I have enjoyed every moment I have worked with the DAIS team, and they have made a complex project achievable and fun. 10/10!

**The Review** — Mar 16, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: DAIS successfully implemented a strategy that strengthened the client’s branding, helping them better engage with their clients and grow their business. The team was very detailed and communicative, and they offered a reasonable price. Moreover, they offered an outstanding personalized approach.
"“DAIS helped us refocus and strengthen our brand, which became a living instrument for our company.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a partner at Mullins, a firm that has been going for 43 years. We provide legal services to clients in the mid-commercial area.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with DAIS?

Towards the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, we decided to rebrand our firm. The firm had started as a family business with the Mullins — a dad and his two sons — but it was now a business of 22 partners and 100 staff members. Therefore, we needed to refresh our brand, create alignment with our staff, and engage with clients differently.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Originally, DAIS helped us with the creative side of our rebranding process. Their initial proposal was very comprehensive, but given that we already had internal marketing and IT teams, that part was already covered. Therefore, their main goal was to change our focus and create a brand that our different stakeholders — equity partners, other partners, staff members, clients, and third parties — could identify with.

DAIS took us through a whole journey that helped them understand what our business was all about, what made us tick, and what our cultural aspects were. Part of the challenge was that we had older partners set in their ways. Still, throughout the process, DAIS provided us with a number of options as to how we wanted to go with the rebranding, including some conservative options and other more innovative options.

Ultimately, DAIS delivered a rebranding strategy to make our brand more contemporary. Once we approved the strategy, their team was in charge of implementing and rolling out the new branding.

What is the team composition?

Although I wasn’t directly involved in the process, I know that we worked with a team of 5–6 people from DAIS. Our main points of contact were Jack (Director and Owner), Jodi (Director of Business Development), and Sarah (Art Director). Still, other creatives were involved throughout the different phases of the project.

How did you come to work with DAIS?

I met DAIS through a networking business group and saw a lot of their work, which was very good. When we were looking for a rebranding partner, I recommended and voted for them. Still, other partners voted for them as well.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $120,000 - $150,000 AUD (approximately $80,000 - $100,000 USD) on the full branding services with DAIS from strategy and design to implementation.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

DAIS helped us refocus and strengthen our brand, which became a living instrument for our company — the result was very successful. The new branding strategy has helped us reengage with existing clients and attract new clients, which has ultimately led us to a significant increase in turnover.

Although the fact that the turnover increase is attributable to the new branding strategy is arguable, everything is part of the same package. Now, there’s an alignment of what our business says to our clients and new customers, which is what attracts them and contributes to that increase. In addition to that, this process helped us take our employees’ points of view into account.

How did DAIS perform from a project management standpoint?

Most problems with budgets are caused by variations. However, I can’t recall significant variations throughout the project. The price was fairly reasonable, considering the hours that DAIS put into the project. Initially, their scoping process was very detailed regarding the different stages, so we both were very aware of variations. Ultimately, the project was very collaborative because we took some parts of that scope and did them ourselves. We communicated via email and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

DAIS didn’t offer a cookie-cutter approach, which was outstanding. A lot of other branding agencies don’t get into the client’s culture and what makes them tick, which makes it hard for them to produce a brand that actually personifies the client’s business.

However, DAIS nailed it — I never thought that the outcome would be what they presented. For them, it was very important to hear from all of our staff members, clients, and stakeholders what they thought of our business, which helped them create alignment between our brand and the way we deliver our services.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing DAIS could have improved on. I’ve seen them work on a number of rebranding projects, and they’ve always been excellent.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open, frank, and transparent about your business, and don’t be afraid of telling them the truth. If you’re not transparent about your business, you won’t enable DAIS to have a clear runway where to take it to. Additionally, be fully engaged in the process.

**Feedback Summary**: DAIS | Identity & Ideas' release of the new brand and website has successfully received positive user feedback. There is now a better understanding and recall of the company's identity. The vendor executes excellent communication flow, ensuring quality outputs throughout the process.
""They go above and beyond and consider every tiny detail.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

Our organisation is a NFP/Charity with the sole mission of using the power of connection to reduce social isolation and loneliness in Australians. We are very passionate about what we do, and are market leaders in our industry as we deliver connection through specially designed digital programs. I am the CEO of the organisation.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire DAIS | Identity & Ideas, and what were your goals?

We brought onboard DAIS to help us with one of the biggest decisions a organisation can make, and that is a rebrand. We needed to take our organisation to a new level, and our previous brand had no meaning or connection. Having worked with DAIS before I knew what they were capable of, and could completely trust them in the process. And always they delivered. We wanted them to do a full overhaul including brand name/logo/look/feel. They helped to also deliver our website, are helping us to customise our very own training site and revamped all of our collateral and experiences.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

I had worked with them before, but we also looked at a variety of competitors and this company was agreed upon for their experience and delivery.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

To start they worked with the key parties, took the time to really understand our organisation. Sent us away with homework, looked at our competitors and really dived into the industry. They then consulted with us throughout every stage to ensure that they got the purpose and story correct - which they did. They can then tell you about your organisation as if they have been working there every day, they knew it inside and out!

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with both the directors Jack and Jodie, their account manager Mataya, and two other staff members along the journey (not including web designers etc). They ensure that it is managed from top to bottom.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The majority of the project has now been delivered with a full live release of our rebrand and website about a month ago. The positive feedback we have received has been overwhelming, people now understand who we are and what we do. Can find us, spell us, and it does exactly what I wanted it to do which was leave a smile on peoples faces.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their communication is excellent, they keep you informed every step of the way. They go above and beyond and consider every tiny detail. They make you part of the process and check in very frequently to ensure they are on track. They hardly ever require any adjustments, they just nail it!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their commitment to understand you, your brand, your organisation, you client and your passion. They can dig deep into the fibres and unravel the ugly old sweater and turn it into something that can only be classed as special.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, they have delivered everything we wanted and more. Thank you!!!

**Feedback Summary**: The in-house team is impressed with the value proposition and the quality of DAIS | Identity & Ideas' services. They were respectful of the client's brand assets. They took their time to understand the client's business, which also felt personal.
""We never felt like we were in the dark and we never felt like the project was not moving fast enough.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Marketing Director of a global Risk Management and Consulting business.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire DAIS | Identity & Ideas, and what were your goals?

Our area of the business has only recently entered the Australian market and we were needing helping with our go-to-market solution and to answer the questions "what do we want to be famous for".

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We looked at 5 different companies ranging from global agencies to local ones. DAIS has exceptional reviews and were locally based so they made the list. After we had out first meeting with them which was just to better understand the project, we knew we had to work with Jack and his team. We immediately notified the other companies in the list and said we had found out partner.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

The interviewed key members of our leadership team and did their own research around the market opportunity. Being a global brand they were very respectful of our larger brand assets and equity, and took that into account at every step. They presented us with not just one solution, but essentially three streams of solution that all tied together to answer the questions "what do we want to be famous for". They were able to better connect the dots of our business than even we were able to at times. We walked away with a new brand for a product and some subsequent solutions to support it.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with four key people in their team: Jack, Jodie Karen and Harriet, but I knew the whole group would have been supporting this project behind the scenes due to how thorough and well executed it was.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have now taken the concept that was given to us by DAIS and will be pushing it forward as our key go-to-market solution. What DAIS did for us what not just a client facing solution, but a language and structure that would also double as a way to unify our team internally as well.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Constant and consistent communication, presentations and follow-ups. We never felt like we were in the dark and we never felt like the project was not moving fast enough. They were very accommodating to our timelines and international challenges.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to really understand our business, our challenges and our opportunities. This felt so personal and like they were part of our business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were fantastic from the first meeting til the final one. We wouldn't change a thing

Sarz Sanctuary was established in 2018, in honour of our daughter, Sara Zelenak, aged 21 years, who was murdered in the London Bridge Borough Markets terror attack, 2017. Sarz Sanctuary needed to re-structure to reach a digital global market and the branding needed to reflect this change.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

DAIS was an easy choice to trust with our re-branding project. We had learned of DAIS and its capabilities through many presentations by the owner and principal Jack Perlinski.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

DAIS has a very professional & well tuned process, from initial discovery & listening of our vision & mission, identifying the key personalities of us personally & how this relates to our brand, and the specific market that our services & products are developed for.

The initial discovery session (4 hours) blew us away, the system and challenging questions of 'who are we', and 'what do we do' gave DAIS the knowledge and incite to deliver back to us the best brand image, strategy and communications. DAIS were confident that they would be able to deliver exactly what we needed from this initial discovery session, and they did. They nailed it!

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our direct contact through the re-brand were a team of 4, though behind the scenes the entire team of DAIS built the project. Jack, CEO & Director, Brand Strategy Jodie, Director Business Development Sarah, Art Director Mataya, Account Manager

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**

From completion of the re-brand project, we have re-launched Sarz Sanctuary & created a new trading entity Sarz Spirit Foundation. This has enable us to support our not-for-profit vision through commercialisation of branded products sold into retail, connecting us with our target client base and generating cashflow to fund our mission.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

From our initial discovering meeting (4hrs), DAIS took approx 6 weeks to develop their first draft proposal back to us. The entire process was well communicated verbally, through agreed documents, 1:1 meetings, email & phone. The communication from each DAIS team member was consistent, timely and accurately recorded. Their communication is second to none.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The DAIS team was truly a step above the pack of brand and identity specialists. This is truly reflective in how they carry their own brand, through their detailed systems & communication, each and every touch point delivers on their brand promise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

NO!, DAIS truly are incredible!

The team leads an organized workflow, ensuring all deliverables are passed on time. They also have a deep understanding of the project and superb communication skills.
""DAIS | Identity & Ideas really understands our company — what we stand for and who we want to become.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a Financial Services and Business Advisory company delivering services from Personal Wealth through to Business Advisory and Accounting work. I am the Chief Executive Officer at Cosca.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire DAIS | Identity & Ideas, and what were your goals?

Our business had recently expanded from NQ to Statewide and as a result encompassed a portfolio of 4 brands with no clear messaging. We engaged DAIS to generate a strategy on how to clearly define our position in the market and bring together each of those brands within our portfolio.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed 4 different branding agencies however DAIS presented a Strategy that was clearly defined and driven with purpose not just change for the sake of change.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

DAIS begun by interviewing our Senior Leadership team about what vision we had for our group of Companies and how we had arrived at where we were at that stage. They then interviewed a number of key staff and key clients to ensure we were aligned in our thinking and what value we delivered to our clients. In the midst of this, we were also looking to establish a Foundation to better serve the communities that had given us the opportunities to do business in their area.
This had to form part of the Rebrand as well. We were then presented with the key messaging and frameworks of the Brand and the creative side that form part of this. Once that was established, DAIS were then also involved in the brand delivery internally, with key presentations in each of the areas we operated in delivered by Jack Parlinski. Followed by a full brand rollout in terms of Collateral, Office Signage designs, etc..

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

To my knowledge at least 5/6 staff were involved directly with our team to deliver the brand rollout.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of our project, we now have clear messaging and one central brand that we can take to market with clarity and confidence. We've also increased staff engagement across the different divisions and locations we operate in. We're still in the early stages on what the Brand will truly deliver to us but we're very pleased with the framework that we'll also be able to implement as part of any future acquisitions.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Mataya and the team communicated well throughout the delivery of the project and implemented a very structured go-to market plan.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

DAIS | Identity & Ideas really understands our company — what we stand for and who we want to become. This really showed from the initial discussions and project meetings all the way through to delivery.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only thing I would suggest is making the online project map available via a link (or alike) so that we could also maintain clarity over what needs to be done and when. DAIS has a robust system in place already but having that added layer of transparency could have helped keep me and my team more accountable.

""An exceptional brand redesign and project execution that has captured the imagination and passion of all stakeholders.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Founder and CEO of a professional Consultancy firm that has been providing clients strategic advice for over 30 years. Our clients are located throughout Australia and internationally in USA, SE Asia and Europe.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire DAIS | Identity & Ideas, and what were your goals?

I recommended DAIS to provide Branding design and consulting services for Spitwater Australia. The objective was to take a brand with significant market presence built over almost 40 years and while respecting its legacy pedigree transform it to a new modern Brand with presence and meaning.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

I have known the founders for over 30 years and consider them to be leaders in their field as international class exceptional brand designers and strategists.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

Under Jack's guidance the team engaged with the Spitwater stakeholders and invested their time in understanding the business, its complicated structure and of most importance its 39 year history and family legacy identity. The design process was exceptional in its form, structure and engagement of all stakeholders. The design was outstanding and due to its respect for the legacy and the anticipated future as part of a business transformation enable degrees of freedom from the owners to really suggest an exciting rebranding opportunity.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project was lead by the founder Jack Perlinksi but the entire DAIS team contributed to the key steps in the branding design, implementation planning and the complex execution of the project with 6 business entities and their interests. The team extended to working collaboratively with the Website design team and also a single source procurement partner for everything from stationery, uniforms, promotional materials, building and vehicle signage/livery and PR.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

An exceptional brand redesign and project execution that has captured the imagination and passion of all stakeholders from staff, customers and partners in the national distribution network of dealers.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They have been collaborative, detailed, disciplined, and responsive. They demonstrate acute anticipation of our needs and potential pitfalls. DAIS has become a trusted strategic partner to the Spitwater business team and will be engaged for all branding strategy and opportunities as we move forward for years to come.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The talent of its Leadership team, designers and the professional way every team member demonstrated the passion for what they do, respect for the role they have in creating pathways to the future and the human elements that enable or create road blocks to success.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In a non covid world I am sure they would have been able to improve the execution timelines but given the challenges they did an exceptional, professional and personally engaging job beyond our expectations and perhaps our dreams

### Cosca - Four brands into one
Read full case study here
Coscer Partners is a financial advisory business that was established in Ingham in 1979. The business acquired three other financial services brands across Queensland to grow its brand portfolio. With four different brands and a vision for growth, clarity of the brand structure and positioning was required; as well as a brand story and personality that would communicate and bring to life their unique philosophy and value offering. DAIS worked with the team to develop a resolved brand strategy and identity that would align with the business strategy.
Objectives

Design a brand architecture to reflect business growth objectives while creating clarity internally and externally.
Create an energetic and passionate new brand and identity that embodies the visionary nature of the business.
Develop a relevant brand story which demonstrates the value the organisation brings beyond the transactional.
Dynamically reframe the perception of traditional accountants to cut through a cluttered market.

Overall, Cosca's new brand strategy brings clarity, energy and new focus to the business. Now that Cosca has one central brand and a vibrant brand identity, they are ready to grow their business.

### Sarz Sanctuary - Not-for-profit brand strategy
Read full case study here
Sarz Sanctuary is a not-for-profit brand founded by Julie and Mark Wallace, who tragically lost their 21-year-old daughter, Sara, in the London Bridge and Borough Street Markets terror attack in 2017.
Julie and Mark approached DAIS in 2020 to evolve, realign and create the brand strategy foundations for Sarz Sanctuary. This project focused on both establishing the foundations for future growth and expansion, and clarifying the brand positioning.

Evolve brand architecture to create and establish the core brand, sub brand & personal brand structures.
Develop clarity around brand identity to scale and deepen the connection to stakeholders.
Evolve and strengthen corporate identity structures to establish greater brand retention as a not-for-profit brand and build equity.
Evolve and develop a distinctive visual identity that can be effectively used across all marketing collateral.

With a clear brand architecture and positioning, Sarz Sanctuary are now able to establish a strong position as a not-for-profit brand, expand their services and grow their reach to help as many people as possible. ### Balancing Heart Vineyard - Brand design
Read full case study here

Define a new brand identity for an existing Granite Belt vineyard to give life and personality to the business while also creating impact on the shelf. The existing vineyard was named Balancing Rock after a unique granite rock formation on the property. So, we felt it was important to continue to use this distinctive rock to create a sense of place and destination. What had been missing from the brand story, however, was heart or emotion.

Objectives

Develop an engaging and impactful new brand identity
Create a new positioning that can encompass future accommodation and events
Craft a compelling brand story which honours our philosophy, legacy and unique location

Within weeks, Balancing Heart came to life as we worked with the enthusiastic owners to launch the new brand. Specifically, this included an engaging website, impactful graphics for their social site, signage and a suite of brochureware and collateral. There’s also a giant Balancing Heart bottle at the gate of the vineyard!
The relaunch has been a resounding success, with the vineyard busy with tastings at their new Cellar Door, showing at festivals and launching new wines. Also, there are exciting plans in place for a range of new varietials and blends. Specifically to take advantage of the unique soil profile, cool climate and abundant sunshine to craft a new generation of wines for Balancing Heart.

### Emporium Hotels - Brand positioning
See full case study here

2017 saw Emporium Hotels move from their location in Fortitude Valley to the coveted and bustling precinct of South Bank and required a brand evolution that would give their brand the strength to expand and cut through the cluttered luxury market.

Objectives

Continue the stage of the Emporium story by fine-tuning brand positioning to reflect the essence of new property whilst leveraging brand assets
Finesse brand language and positioning to enhance and further develop brand reputation as an aspirational market leading luxury boutique hotel
Develop visual style to make an impact in the luxury hotel market

DAIS facilitated the transition by updating the identity for Emporium through introducing new sub-brands and brand positioning language whilst still retaining the core brand identity. Maintaining the brand promise ‘exquisite stays’ was important for its key messages of luxury, exquisite experiences and the hotel as an aspirational destination.

Through their brand evolution, Emporium Hotels has strengthened and grown whilst maintaining their well deserved reputation for being an aspirational destination.

### Apollo - Brand culture
See full case study here

Apollo approached DAIS as an established company recently listed on ASX and experiencing rapid growth and global brand acquisitions. However, they had a lack of structure and convention across their brand portfolio which was creating disparate internal cultures.

Objectives

Develop strategic structures and frameworks to reflect the business strategy and enable Apollo to lead its diverse brand portfolio with clarity and consistency, both internally and externally
Strengthen, evolve and protect brand identities, positioning and language
Create a layered messaging framework by stakeholder profile
Define internal brand culture and develop tools to unite and inspire global employee basis

Management and staff from all areas of the business now have a clear understanding of how the brand is represented and what it stands for. In turn, this is driving consistency and building a stronger brand identity with customers, suppliers, stakeholders and industry.

With clear strategies in place for integrating new brands into the Apollo family, and a strong intellectual property framework to protect its brand assets, Apollo is well placed to take advantage of future global growth opportunities.

### Acacia Connections - Brand architecture
Read full case study here

Acacia Connections needed to clarify their brand architecture across a multi-brand portfolio to align with business strategy. As well as to evolve existing brand identity to build on equity and leverage for future growth.
Objectives

Clarify brand portfolio architecture to align with business strategy
Evolve existing brand identity to build on equity and leverage for future growth
Simplify and organise the group eco-system into segments and solution streams
Establish brand structures and positioning to allow for future expansion

Implementation of the new brand ecosystem has resulted in every individual within and associated with Acacia Connections having a clear understanding of the brands and their relationships. Additionally, Acacia Connections can now succinctly communicate the different brand value propositions to multiple stakeholder groups. Therefore, Acacia Connections is structured for future growth and expansion.
