I am Chief Content Officer for IBT Online, a US private company that focuses on website localization, international online marketing, and website management programs, which are the result of applying cutting edge online technologies and creating innovative global business development opportunities, so our Online Global programs deliver our corporate clients exponential, sustainable and successful growth in their exports, sales, brands and business.

We regularly call on Daily Translate's services to get quality translations of website content. Most tend to be for B2B websites but include B2C and ecommerce websites.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

DailyTranslate consistently delivered what they promised - on time, quality translations. On the rare occasion that we have questioned a translation they have reviewed and improved it.

We had a complex text to translate that was on an Excel spreadsheet and we needed that in several languages including Thai, Korean and Japanese.

What was their cost structure like?

The cost structure is set by word count and an additional fee for proofreading / editing. They appear to be in line with industry standards and their prices are transparent and stated at the start of any project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The translations were done on time and when we reviewed them with the client, were judged to be well translated and in sympathy with a native speaker - so it did not read as a strict translation.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Daily Translate deliver what they say promise, on time and to a high level of quality. They are also easy to work with with transparent pricing and a reasonable project turn-around.

We’ve developed a new product and are designing the packaging for it. We needed the information to be translated into different European languages.

DAILYTRANSLATE’s work was very good. They made some mistakes in the beginning, but they gave me a discount for a second project. I was very happy about that.

I was always in contact with their project manager, and they delivered the work on time. We used email for communication and sharing work. They also used Dropbox.

I found them through a Google search. The deciding factors were: known company with good reviews and big clients, as well as the available payment options.

All text and context annotations were provided as an XLIFF file. The document included some gaming terminology which they could handle with no issues and they were quick to ask for clarifications where needed.
