Our engagement began with a full audit of our website. From there we selected a handful of keywords we were going to rank for. As they worked on backlinks, articles and meta descriptions for our new website, they also helped us clean up the mess our previous SEO company did with incorrect 301 redirects and setting up the Google Tag's correctly.

I only speak with the owner and the project manager, which is great! She is an excellent communicator, and very quick to respond to any of my questions. Their entire on-boarding process was impressive.

I can't think of anything they can improve on since their pricing is very fair and easy to scale, their on-boarding is on point, and their ability to get up to speed with our industry was impressive. Great work!

Generating a daily report from an online, reliable SEO tool, we were seeing our keyword phrase rankings move from non-existent to measurable within weeks. After several months, we have a good number of keywords that rank on page 1 and many within the top 3 in organic search.

Dabaran signed us up to receive daily monitoring through Nightwatch which shows our gains and losses. The team writes 2 keyword rich articles monthly that are submitted to various online resources. We receive a monthly report that shows all of the links submitted, our average rankings, keyword distributions, and keyword changes. The reporting is clear and concise and when we do have questions, they are answered quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team's level of service has been excellent. We appreciate the consistently and reliability of reporting as well as the white hat tactics they they are using to build our web presence.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of.

We are a commercial janitorial company that services any sort of commercial business with the exception of restaurants. I’m the founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dabaran?

There were two opportunities. One was that we are focusing on getting more janitorial contracts and we are also trying to dig into the disinfection service for the time being while the pandemic is here.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Dabaran quickly set up a campaign to get us going. They have created an SEO campaign, primarily with keywords, half of that is focused on disinfection, and half of that is focused on janitorial work. 

With the janitorial side, they did on-site and off-site SEO, and they adjusted some of our content. They went through and ran some reports on Google and saw what was really high volume. We then created the keywords around that. 

What is the team composition?

I work with Asad (CEO), and there are three other teammates. One is an account manager, and Asad has a support team around him.

How did you come to work with Dabaran?

We were working with a company before that dropped the ball at the beginning of the pandemic with some obligations. We decided to make a change. I had looked around on different platforms to try and find someone. 

I came across Asad and Dabaran and we had a phone call. We talked for about half an hour, and it felt like we lined up.

How much have you invested in them?

For the service itself, we’ve probably spent $8,000–$9,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in March 2020, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team was able to get us to number one within three weeks for disinfecting. The direct result to us was that the two months that were the peak of the initial wave of the pandemic were the most successful two months of our existence. That was directly related to that SEO work that they did.

How did Dabaran perform from a project management standpoint?

It has been good and organized. Dabaran has been good with reporting, and they use a platform called Nightwatch, which I really like because it gives me a more granular view of how our site is performing through a daily report.

They also do weekly reports and I believe there is also a monthly report. I haven’t had any trouble getting through to Asad if I need to speak with him directly, which has been really helpful at certain times when there have been issues. 

We use email to communicate. I tried to ask if they could help us with Google Ads, but they only focus on SEO, which I think is a benefit. A lot of times, people try to branch out too much in this space, so it’s been valuable to only do SEO.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication has been awesome. They do a really good job of keeping in touch and keeping me in the loop, and they’re active when I have requests. 

Additionally, when the pandemic hit, we needed help because we lost one of our largest clients and unfortunately that was a big percentage of our revenue. We had to cut down on some things and part of that was SEO. Asad just jumped right in and said we would cut down where we needed to and come back up when we needed to. 

A lot of times people try to get you into contracts and agreements and they’re just not really friendly, so it was refreshing to see this with Asad. The experience has been really good compared to other ones that I had in the past. 

This is probably the fourth or fifth SEO company we have dealt with, and they seem to be more organized, professional, and proactive than any of the others.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t really think of anything off the top of my head. They just got on Nightwatch, so they are trying to improve. If anything, they could be more granular with where the backlinks are and exact about what they’re working on.

Be clear about what your expectations are and make sure that they’re clear on what they think they can do.

After the initial kick-off meeting, where our ventures were presented to Dabaran, as well as requirements and scope defined, we got a proposal, which we gladly accepted. Dabaran applied quite an individual approach.

They took their time to understand the exact needs we had, to conduct thorough research on the specific niche markets we`re trying to target, including competitors and audience.

Once they prepared the strategies for a few of our brands, they started executing, which included running SEO campaigns, identifying link-building opportunities, making website changes wherever needed to fit their SEO campaign efforts, and much more.

Although, when it comes to search engine optimization, it often takes time to get actual results, we noticed an uplift in the domain authorities of our sites just within months. In addition, our organic traffic started to increase gradually, but in a stable way. We are receiving monthly reports.

At the end of the 3 month campaign, the website has moved up in rankings for multiple keywords. Prior to the campaign the website had no rankings and was receiving no traffic. The website now ranks for 98 keywords.

I received regular project updates from the team, that showed me the progress of the campaign and the work they had completed each week.

The primary method of communication was email, and I always found them to be responsive and happy to answer any questions I had.

They were extremely proactive and responsive from the beginning and it was clear they were an experienced team. 

The campaign ran for 3 months, and in that time they were able to begin ranking the site for multiple keywords and driving traffic. I have no doubt that if the campaign ran for longer they would have delivered great results.

We had a variety of outfits pitching their services and after a 30-minute call with Dabaran's owner I was completely sold. He laid out the turnkey solution Dabaran offered and the minimal impact it would have on my day to day and was very realistic about expectations over time.

Our first step was selecting keywords, which Dabaran assisted with and made suggestions on based on key data points. The team then proceeded to on site optimization — which was incredibly easy with his team taking the lead and making all the changes on our behalf once approved. From there we've moved into the off site portion with link building which all handled by his team and easy to manage via email.

I get weekly updates from the Project Coordinator - she proved a detailed report as well as bullet points on the important talking points. These emails are thorough enough I don't typically reply but any time I've asked a questions she is very quick to respond. I also get monthly reports which go further in depth and layout future plans. The owner is also readily available and responds to emails within 24 hours.

Without going into specific keywords I can attest Dabaran has taken our rankings from 100+ to ranking the first five pages. In one instance we had one keyword we weren't ranking for at all and the team has gotten us onto the front page of google in only three months.

I'm given access to a dashboard where I can pull up data at any point. This is in addition to the weekly briefings and the monthly deep dives. As mentioned, the team is always very quick to respond to questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I appreciate most is how hands-off I get to be because of Dabaran. I have a lot on my plate and so to be able to give them the keys and know that they're working hard in the background and I get to sit back and see results is great. Not to mention the availability of the owner for questions at any time, no matter how big or small.

Not really. I know that's not typical for a review, but my company just signed on with Dabaran to optimize two other sites so we're clearly happy with the service.
