R&D Director at Techona. Techona is a B2B gaming platform provider for major online operators. Since 1998, Techona has become not just as designers of games and interfaces, but the engineers of complete gaming business platforms.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dysnix?

The Dysnix team has designed and created a new gaming platform infrastructure from scratch using the most advanced technology stack. The Company developed a technical solution to scale the platform easily and to achieve a high fault-tolerance of infrastructure and security.

What were your goals for this project?

We had to modernize our gaming platform infrastructure in a way to be maintained as easily as possible, to make it secure from hacking and cyber-attacks, scalable and fault tolerance.

How did you select this vendor?

We didn't have the necessary expertise within the company moving to a scalable dockerized environment, and we were looking for a specialized company that could complete a project of high-complexity. First of all, we chose the team by the level of its expertise.

Dysnix specializes in providing DevOps services. It’s not a company that provides everything, from A to Z and its engineers and architects are top-level professionals.

The other aspect was reasonable pricing, flexibility according to the business needs, and the way how they were engaged in - as a dedicated team that became a part of our tech team for the duration of the project to complete it successfully.

Describe the project in detail.

We hired the Dysnix team to build a high-available, secure, and scalable server infrastructure for our gaming platform, create the detailed documentation and share expertise with the in-house team on how to use and maintain the developed solution.

The company helped us to:

• Develop a Kubernetes-based cost-effective server infrastructure in GCP with the private topology
• Fully implement the infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Design and implement the monitoring and alerting systems with custom business metrics
• Build a logs aggregation system with a user interface and alerting
• Train the in-house team on how to use the developed solutions.

Furthermore, the Dysnix team continues supporting the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main result of our collaboration with Dysnix was creating a cost-effective infrastructure solution to scale our product - the gaming platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I am fully satisfied with the way of work organization. Dysnix provided effective project management based on the Agile / SCRUM methodologies. We had full reporting and weekly calls to demonstrate the progress of the project. I especially want to note the communication with the Dysnix team, because it was extremely important for us.

Both a Project Manager and Dysnix engineers stayed in constant touch with us and all the issues were resolved quickly. They always tried to speed up the execution of the project when there were any blocks on our side. They didn't look like an outsourcing consulting company, they were like a part of our team, which was essential at the stage of the solution’s implementation.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Dysnix accomplished exactly what we needed. The dedicated team was amazing - they always supported us with and were always available. Our expectations were entirely satisfied.

Dysnix is a team of a top-level, implying their skills and expertise, and definitely one of the best DevOps teams I have ever met. Within 2-3 weeks of working on the project, Dysnix experts became a part of our in-house team. Everyone was communicating with them during the day. For me, this is an indicator of high-quality service provision.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I definitely recommend Dysnix to my colleagues from this industry. The only thing that I would improve from both sides is the accuracy of the initial project estimation that sometimes happens. Perhaps because of the particularity of our platform and its components the Dysnix team couldn't estimate the project accurately.

But despite these nuances, the team took on the project development as soon as possible and successfully accomplished it.

I’m Eugene Fine, CTO at ExplORer Surgical. ExplORer Surgical focuses on real-time surgical procedure data acquisition and management. The ExplORer system is a workflow management tool designed to manage tasks and tools for surgical teams.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dysnix?

The Dysnix team was hired to develop the Proof of Concept for an AI-based software application to recognize surgical instruments from the video stream. This application is to be a part of the interactive workflow management software for use during surgical operations.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to develop the surgical instrument detection demo using computer vision technology and to attract investment to implement the project further.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We could not find such specialists with the highest level of professionalism like the Dysnix engineers, although we were looking for partners and contractors for the current project for a long time. Only for the Medtech project, we conducted a total of about 15 interviews with different technical teams. We worked with Dysnix on several Devops projects before and found out that the team also works with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. So we chose them for the Medtech project.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The Dysnix team tasks were to develop the Proof of Concept for the AI-based software application to recognize surgical instruments from the video stream. They successfully prepared a dataset and trained a model for surgical instrument detection, and developed the application using this model. The developed application can: - Detect all the surgical objects on video - Classify all the detected objects - Track objects on the screen and produces events on changes The demo version was designed to minimize risks that can arise during surgical operations, such as: - Disruptions, delays, and errors in an operating room - Frustrations for a surgical team - Excess costs for hospitals - Suboptimal outcomes for patients.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The main result of our collaboration with Dysnix is ​​that they developed the operating demo, and they did it quickly and at a reasonable rate. In fact, the Dysnix team helped us to prepare a sound basis so we can get funding.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

First of all, if we worked with another team of engineers, we could not implement this project at all, or it would cost more than we could afford. To implement the project we initially worked with other teams but they failed with the task. During the project development, the Dysnix team demonstrated a high level of management skills. All the development stages were shown as demos weekly so that we could see the progress of the work done. They also trained the in-house team on how to use the developed solutions and helped us to prepare documentation for getting funding.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I can assess the level of third-party expertise because I’m an engineer myself and manage my team. Skills and knowledge of the Dysnix team in the fields of DevOps, Architecture of Cloud Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, and Blockchain are 10 out of 10. Dysnix impressed us with their deep expertise and experience in completing very complex tasks that most engineers simply could not take on.

I just hope the highly-qualified team of Dysnix will continue developing their skills and gaining new knowledge as they usually do. We are planning to develop the project further and continue collaborating with the Dysnix team.

Arilot experts built for Cryptonomos high availability server infrastructure running in Kubernetes on AWS with monitoring and autoscaling.

The Arilot specialists took into account traffic load, that helped to use resources efficiently and get through sudden load jumps. Arilot team conducted the monitoring of network traffic on several levels to provide DDOS protection, which is very important as cyber attacks are becoming a major threat for the financial sector.

Arilot team also developed a test environment facilitating applications for cryptocurrencies to run efficiently. Arilot team works with all popular cryptocurrencies successfully and they have some ready-made solutions for blockchain-based projects.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

At first, the team set up infrastructure, created MVP and then provided us with the link for testing - we got an endpoint to check and test everything that was needed on GKE. The next stage was about bringing up full-scale nodes on GSP - a regular RPC node and a snapshot node (for bootstrap of RPC nodes), with a dedicated Kubernetes node pool for running monitoring processes, ensuring efficient performance tracking and management.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have got the BSC self-hosted cluster integrated with the Transaction Simulator - a fast, secure and cost-effective solution with the highest SLA and a variety of additional custom configurations for our project. It is a stable IaC with ability for fast and large scaling and simplicity to upgrade and maintain.

Yes, they did deliver items on time and were so dedicated to the project’s needs and general flow. They always helped us and guided through different kinds of questions as well as provided consultations regarding our setup. Dysnix engineers are always ready to face a new challenge - we are very pleased to work with them.
