I’m the director of Thinkhat Software. We develop and incubate AI-driven platforms and companies in life sciences and healthcare, addressing challenges like operational inefficiencies, physician burnout, and advancing precision medicine and novel therapies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cybercommand Private Limited?

We needed HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II compliance consulting. Cybercom Private Limited also provides VAPT, MDR, and GRC as services, so we needed them to provide complete managed security services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope was to get Thinkhat compliant with SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA standards. This applies across our offices and all employees. Cybercom Private Limited has taken end-to-end responsibility for HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance, starting from gap assessment, solution design and implementation, policy and procedure review and enforcement, and even facilitating the external audit process.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve achieved SOC 2 Type II attestation and HIPAA compliance. We’ve made several improvements, including changes in policies, security best practices, and user awareness training. Our monthly security reviews suggest fewer cyber incidents compared to previous years, which is the result of all the controls that Cybercom Private Limited has enforced.
