OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Cruefilms., and what were your goals?

The development and execution of one digital ad for the brand known as From Baltimore With Love. The goal was to create images for the script written by Six Point Pictures that matched the tone, pace and feeling behind the words.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew Samson and his work for some time now.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

Samson hired the crew and assisted in location scouting where the scenes were going to take place in addition to developing tentative blocking for the action the characters were going to perform.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked directly with Samson and his skill and understanding of the subject matter made all the difference in the execution of this project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final project received a lot of positive feedback and the video has been used by the brands owner Brian D. to secure funding and foster new partnerships in the city.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Having Spencer on as the producer allowed this project to flow in an effortless fashion. His communication, patience and clarity with tasks that needed to be accomplished were the glue for the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The cohesion among the crew.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I feel that the only thing that could be improved on is setting deadlines for the client side. The end client Brian needed a little more of an aggressive reminder for his tasks that would have helped get this project done a little sooner.

If there was a system in place that lets the client know that they are responsible for a number of items in order for a project to take place on time I think that would make things move smoother for all parties involved.
