• Our main goal was to engage on all the top ranking Reddit threads on Google for our privacy app. Reddit made perfect sense to us since there's a huge community of our ICP that is on Reddit.
• They handled everything for us from keyword generation to finding the high-traffic threads, writing the comments and engaging on them. We didn't have to provide any accounts or anything.
• Our second most important goal was to start showing up on popular LLM platforms like Chatgpt and Claude for related search queries. The scope of work was to find all those threads that were being cited by these LLMs and having our app mentioned.
• The last one was to do a minor brand reputation fix since we had a negative thread ranking on Google for our brand name.

Around 350 comments were placed on high-traffic threads

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Everything was managed in shared Google Sheets, which made it super easy to track progress. It had all the threads sourced, comments written, status, and whether I wanted any content edits.

Email was our primary communication channel and it was smooth throughout, with quick replies and weekly check-ins from the team to confirm priorities and update status. At month-end they sent a detailed report that listed actual deliverables (live threads, ranks, upvotes), so I could clearly see what we got and what it achieved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stands out is how specialize and practical their Reddit-first approach is. On our discovery call, I asked them just about everything I had concerns over and they went through each one and how they'd go about it. Havent seen anyone else go such in-depth on what works and not on Reddit. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something CrowdScale could have done differently?

Slack or some other faster channel would be better

Some comments felt out of place but then again you have the option to have them edited

I'm the Co-founder of an online graphic design and photo editing platform. We help entrepreneurs and small businesses easily create professional-quality images and graphics using a wide range of tools.

What challenge were you trying to address with CrowdScale?

We wanted to increase our presence on Reddit and boost our visibility on LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and AI overviews. Our main acquisition source had been Google organic search, but Reddit threads started ranking for almost all our keywords and queries, which reduced our overall traffic and impressions.

CrowdScale handled all our Reddit marketing efforts, from sourcing relevant threads to identifying which ones were being cited by LLM platforms. They managed engagement on these threads in line with our brand voice and identity, and provided detailed analytics on our performance, including how we were showing up on Reddit and other platforms.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now receive around 35,000 visits per month from Reddit, making it our third most important acquisition channel. Our AI visibility has increased from 15% to 55%, and our brand is now mentioned on key design-related terms on ChatGPT, Claude, and Google overviews. This is a significant improvement from when our visibility on AI platforms was almost non-existent.

How did CrowdScale perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything was handled very smoothly, with timely project updates. Communication was primarily through virtual meetings and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CrowdScale has a very hands-on approach to AI visibility and Reddit marketing. They are extremely effective in this area, leveraging their expertise from working on their own brands as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there is anything they could have done better or differently during the project.
