Overall lead capture rate improved by 4x with even better results on mobile vs desktop. They also delivered a 30% improvement on the contact rate of the sales leads and a 11% improvement on the application submission rate.

We selected the conversion rate store after many interviews with consultants and agencies and ultimately decided to use them because of their expertise in the area as well as their ability to execute all the work required to get it done with minimal input from my team We also wanted a partner to take the project and run with it, so my team could execute other essential business areas.

They first audited our site, ensuring we had the proper tags and tracking to help form the baseline while gathering metrics to determine which areas to attack first. After this, they came forward with multiple recommendations and suggestions on areas to focus on that would have the most significant impact on our store. After choosing our journey and what we wanted to test, we were given design briefs on the changes and why they were making them. Following that, their team implemented the tests in Google Tag Manager and monitored the performance, making adjustments as necessary. We did this cycle several times and were quite happy with the final result.

CRS performed an audit and thorough research on all stages of our pay-up-front funnels that allows people to buy our software online through paid social ads. They presented the research, where steps in the funnel were not performing, and suggested where they would start to improve those to get better conversions at every step, more buyers and higher AOV. They then presented hypotheses with design to run these experiments against our controls. The process was very rigorous and scientific.

Typically 2-3. Our account manager/owner of CRS, our project manager and occasionally some other members.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In our tenure, they had 3 winning experiments that we have either implemented or plan to soon on various funnels of ours in-market. They also have helped with several technical needs we have as we don't have a developer, engineer or coder on the Marketing team.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was fairly effective - we leveraged Slack and had 1 call/week with the full team. Sometimes they shared alot of details in messages that were hard to keep up with, but generally project managed things very well with us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They take a very scientific, statistical approach to their conversion rate optimization and don't test individual elements like most A/B tests. They did large overhauls of designs, pages, flows, and more. They were very unique.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They did not always understand the lack of technical resources we had in Marketing to implement their designs, tags and other needs. They could have been more sympathetic to that gap.

I am co-founder of Nebula Genomics. We are a direct-to-consumer DNA testing company. We sell Whole Genome Sequencing, which is an extremely comprehensive DNA test that decodes 100% of DNA.

Most people think all DNA tests are the same, but this is not true. We offer a DNA test that decodes close to 100% of the human genome while the DNA tests offered by our competitors decode only ~0.01%. The challenge that we faced was to educate customers about DNA testing and convince them that our DNA test is worth its premium price.

Conversion Rate Store employees propose various changes to our website and provided a rationale for them (typically backed by HotJar surveys, Google Analytics, etc.). They then implement A/B tests to find out if the changes improve customer conversion rate. Most of the conducted A/B tests were successful and we implemented the proposed changes.

We interact with 2 people, but there is a much larger team in the background that does various jobs (analytics, coding, design, etc.).

We were approached by Conversion Rate Store with an unconventional offer to perform CRO on Prom.ua on a performance-based basis. This allowed us to easily calculate the ROI from this project on the inception. They performed 12 A/B tests on our site and delivered multiple winning tests. One of them produced a 6% increase in ARPU that gave us a substantial boost to our revenue.

Firstly the team made a deep dive into the data analysis to identify patterns in user behavior and find major drop offs. Having this understanding there have been a series of user interviews and questionaries to define reasons of certain actions and pain points that could be improved. After approximately 3 weeks we had first session with ideas and wireframes that we discussed evaluating data and user insights.

We have chosen the most impactful ones and Conversion Rate Store worked through design, copy and launched on traffic taking over all development and QA. When the test reached it's statistical significance we have been presented summary with analysis of few silos to evaluate fully the impact of changes on different user segments.

The very first test of alternative proposed version showed 8% ARPU growth allowing more users to experience product adoption with simplified registration process and more clear communication.

The communication was smooth and we have seen high level of engagement from all team members through the process. We have been informed weekly on the statuses and alerted when there have been any hold backs from our side to provide feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It was great to see how the team looked on the product from the new perspective and highlighted areas that have become blind spots for us. Conversion Rate Store always came prepared to the meeting bringing all necessary data and proof points.

There is always room for improvement in terms of doing things faster and having even more insights and running more tests but we choose quality over quantity.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They understood that we need to look at and interpret various KPIs when analyzing A/B tests. However, one of the main KPIs we looked at was average revenue per user. When we ran our various A/B tests, we saw an increase of 30% in our average revenue per user, which is excellent!

How did Conversion Rate Store perform from a project management standpoint?

They definitely delivered on time. In the beginning, we struggled a bit with the documentation of the A/B testing. We then used Asana, which was easy for everyone to use. There was a clear structure. Communication was good too, and we communicated via email. Their team was responsive, so I had no complaints.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Two main factors distinguish them from other providers. Conversion Rate Store was extremely data-driven, so their team backed up their ideas with data. The other factor was their competitive pricing model. Compared to others, they were significantly cheaper.

Their documentation of results could be a bit better. We, however, managed that in the end.
