Please describe your company and your position there.

I am co-founder and COO of a news technology company which specialises in news analytics and alternative data for the financial markets.

For what projects/services did your company hire Contentworks Agency?

We have utilised Contentworks for a range of projects, both in house and for our clients. We wanted to create some inbound content marketing that could showcase some of the unique content and data that we can offer in analysing the financial markets. To do this, we needed an agency like Contentworks who not only understood the markets themselves but could write in a way that was thought provoking for our clients. We have also used Contentworks to help our clients produce quality content and market analysis for their own inbound marketing teams.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met Contentworks at an industry event and subsequently engaged with them on general industry discussions. Throughout this time, the team demonstrated enthusiasm, flexibility and most importantly for us, sector knowledge and understanding that it was an easy decision to make for us.

Every project has involved a detailed kick off call and sample content has been generated to ensure the quality, type, style, length and tone was right. Where clients have been involved or any specific delivery and support requirements were needed, Contentworks have worked diligently and swiftly to establish effective and efficient procedures that would work for everyone involved.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We work closely with the founders and owners of the agency but they have also set up a team of writers and software developers to assist with the delivery of the content across various platforms and to meet the delivery frequency required.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our inbound marketing activities are still relatively new but their involvement has meant we could demonstrate effectiveness of our data in a meaningful and actionable way from the outset. Our client projects are also establishing themselves as thought leaders through their content marketing efforts too.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow has been complicated at times to set up due to the nature of client requirements, languages and time zones but Contentworks has made the process as simple as possible, helping with idea generation and multiple delivery specifications across multiple projects, all on time and with a smile.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We love the fact that Contentworks are subject matter experts in the financial markets. Their flexibility in being able to adjust their writing style to what we want is a huge asset and helps us stand out.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None at all.
