Please describe your company and your position there.

I work in a public university as a research assistant. In the projects we hired Code35, I was project coordinator.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire CODE35, and what were your goals?

We wanted a mobile app for an international youth competition where the local youth can create artistic challenges and spread it to their enlarged neighbourhood. By this way, the youth from different ethnicities could upload their own artistic work and challenge each other which in the end would lead emphaty towards each other.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for local developers and in accordance with their reputationon timing of the work and the understanding of the customer's needs, we decided to work with them.

We had series of discovery meetings with the team in CODE35 where we, all of our team comprised of 20, explained the aim of the project and the expectations. With the team in CODE35, we were able to develop our needs. They have asked the columns and technologies we require and provided us different alternatives. In the end, we agreed on a mobile app for both android and ios. The mobile app was integrated with a store where the users could sell their artistic work, via Google pays, download and upload system, introduction of new columns or items by the users, push notifications for the news and new challenges.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project manager worked closely with our team in every step and provided us the upgrades and if necessary, required changes in the project. The app developer also worked throught the process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 3 months, the team let the mobile app in use. Despite the low number of users, which was related with our project itself, all users were able to use and spread the mobile app and challenges. The result was met our expectations for a mobile app.

The project manager was easy to communicate and always provided us wth the updates. He was very reachable and also interested in our needs. The mobile app was delivered right on time. Even after delivery, the project manager helped us with the necessary improvements. The mobile app development was both very quick and useful for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company was always ready to improve it and even exploring different alternatives to be used in our mobile app that could be an advantage for the purpose of the project. He always aimed at improving the app.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Status reports can be more quick to deliver so the customers may better improve the tasks.
