BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m a marketing director of Grand Kopaonik Hotel. It’s a 5 star mountain hotel with spa center and it’s ski in ski out. It is part of holding MK Group which works with Sheraton in Novi Sad, Serbia and Kempinski in Slovenia and Croatia.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Coba & associates, and what were your goals?

We hired them to do the complete rebranding of the hotel since we refurbished all hotel venues and three restaurants including spa and wellness center, pool area, reception desk and all public spaces in and around premisess. Our goal was to create a new brand linked to tradition with an look in to the future.

How did you select this vendor?

- We reseached local market and interviwed several companies.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

Based on the brand and communication strategy we briefed Coba&Associates on our needs to rebrand the hotel. This included new logo, colors, typography, new brand book, identites for three restourants, spa and wellness, digital communication including new web site and instagram account, advertising campaign, signage system, concept store with local food and souveniers and all print collaterals for front and back of the house.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

- We worked with 12 people. The team comprises of creative director, art director, three designers, two project managers, strategist, digital specialist, web developer, copywriters and signage specialist.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

To a great public acclaim the hotel opened the doors and immediately recived an award – Hotel Brand of the Year by one of the most prestigious Hotel association in Serbia - „Ambasadori dobre usluge“

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

It was a huge project with really big number of stakeholders but everything was delivered in time and desired quality, despite sometimes impossible deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their creative ideas, unique approach, and dedication were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

- There is always an area that can be improved, but we are overall happy with the outcome.
