BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am an email marketing specialist for Otter Products, and we are a mobile cases and accessories company with multiple brands, primarily focusing on sustainable and strong phone cases.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Clique Affiliate Marketing?

The big issue we were facing was just becoming more well known throughout different potential customer networks and getting our brand out there on content sites relevant to where we see our brand going.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They focus on digital publications and content sites, where they handle the process pretty much from end to end. They make the connections, create the content and write the copy, and then create and manage the schedule for placing those based on the strategies that we’ve provided to them.

We also do some paid placement opportunities with different partners, but those are mostly in situations where Matt (Director of Account Management) identifies an opportunity on the side and then puts us in contact with the person so that we can evaluate whether the spend and potential benefit really fit into our goals.

What was the team composition?

Our communication with them flows exclusively through Matt.

How did you come to work with Clique Affiliate Marketing?

Their team was already partnered with our firm when I joined, but it was an easy decision to keep them on with our team because of the quality of the work that they provide.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with their team in April 2019 and we are continuing to partner together, but the relationship does extend before that as well.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been super happy with the significant level of brand growth that we’ve seen in our time working with them. Matt and his team have stepped it up any time we’ve needed to based on our feedback, and the revenue that we track has definitely seen benefits from all of our activities with them. Our year to date revenue is up about 43%, which, given the current situation, is absolutely stellar.

How did Clique Affiliate Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Matt has done an absolutely excellent job of delivering anything we ask him for. There was a point in time earlier on when we didn’t feel like we were getting enough regular information and updates, and as soon as we communicated that to him, he started delivering it immediately. We’ve been really pleased with his performance on that front.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can only speak to our experience with Matt, but I’m sure he reflects on the skill of the Clique Affiliate team as a whole, and he has an incredible sense of the affiliate content sites in our space and will consistently seek out new opportunities for our products and hit the nail on the head just about every time. His work has delivered a nearly nine times ROI, which obviously makes things more than worthwhile for us to be working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they need to be doing differently, because anytime we’ve asked them for something, they delivered on it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As long as they know what your goals are and you communicate openly and honestly, they will be able to help you reach them.
