We needed to build a high-quality MVP of our first productivity-focused mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Calda has provided end-to-end app development from design to launch. The team has been responsible for UI/UX design, mobile app development via FlutterFlow, backend integration, paywall integration, and push notification setup. The core deliverables include a fully functional MVP of the Analog app aligned with the product brief, an integrated backend supporting user data, task tracking, and performance insights, a TestFlight-ready build for live user testing, and ongoing bug fixes, performance improvements, and feature refinements leading up to the launch.

Calda has delivered a fully functioning app according to the PRD. We're still testing it, but we're overall satisfied with the results.

Calda's team is incredibly responsive and has delivered according to our agreed-upon milestones. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Calda's design and technical quality are equally strong. The team also has strong communication skills.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Calda has been helping us with FlutterFlow development, backend development, and AI integration. The main deliverable is an end-to-end platform for financial advisors, which includes document ingestion, data structuring, and report writing. 
We encountered lots of unknowns that appeared as we built the functionality, especially with FlutterFlow’s limitations with Postgres and AI, but we managed to overcome all of them.

We found Calda through a search. We chose them because they seemed quite experienced and had a good price point.

The project scope is the main metric we use to evaluate success. Our overall experience has been very good.

Calda’s project management has been great. The team is responsive and delivers on time. We primarily communicate via Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been building our product with Calda, and they’ve been a great partner throughout. The team is solid across FlutterFlow, backend work, and AI integration. However, what stands out the most is how they think like builders. Calda doesn't wait for perfect specs; they get stuck in, figure things out, and keep moving.

Moreover, the team is easy to work with. They’re flexible, collaborative with other teams, and supportive of us as founders. Overall, they’re genuinely good people who care about the work and the journey. I highly recommend Calda.

Multiple deliveries and milestones were agreed before project commencement. Weekly formal check-ins and ad-hoc communication on Slack to keep on track and on budget.

Overall, very satisfied with the Project Management. I was assigned a dedicated project manager. Communications were regularly scheduled and never missed.
