Byte Lab developed complete firmware for the product, implementing features such as OTA, GUI design and implementation, Secure Boot, multiple sensors, speaker and coin detection algorithm. Beside developing the firmware, they also proactively proposed hardware schematic review services, which additional improved the product.

Byte Lab supported our product development from prototyping to manufacturing phase, while providing their know-how and experience.

We were able to meet our tight timelines. We started with an early prototype until all the way till we have hundreds of our devices distributed globally.

Not only did they deliver items on time, but they are always ready to be flexible, which is super critical at the early stages of the project.

• Full-stack- even when we just started with PCBA, we felt that we could also rely on them for manufacturing as well

A bit of stricter protocols could help. For example, what's the protocol when items are shipped, or when there are issues on delivered product, etc. But what I found that as soon as they spot a place where they can improve, they act very fast and do so.

Bytelab has strategically guided us to make the right choices in the development of a meter reader that digitizes analog utility meters. They also made an initial series of prototypes that we were allowed to test, after which they took over the production of thousands of devices.
