I am the creative director of a digital agency called design:success.

What challenge were you trying to address with Burumbio Media?

We were creating a campaign for a banking app, and we hired Burumbio Media to help with commercials and photo shoots. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

My team at design:success was responsible for creating a storyboard for the commercial. Once our client approved the plan, we relied on Burumbio Media to execute on our vision. They helped us select a cast and assemble a crew. Burumbio Media made arrangements for lights, wardrobe, cameras, and everything else we required the shoot. Finally, they filmed and edited the commercials for the product.

What is the team composition?

Pablo (Director & Producer, Burumbio Media) was our main point of contact. Overall, 20­–30 people worked on our project, but I’m not sure how many of those worked for Burumbio Media.  

How did you come to work with Burumbio Media?

I received a recommendation from a friend and got in contact with Pablo. I reviewed their portfolio, and their price fit our budget. Once we selected them, we were quite pleased with the services they provided.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $60,000–$80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The entire project took about three weeks during July­–August 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We received a high-quality finished product. The video matched what we envisioned in the creative brief. It was a good experience working with them.

How did Burumbio Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Pablo took charge of mostly everything. It was nice to have one central point of contact.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Sometimes in projects like this, the acting doesn’t have the emotion that you were expecting, but that wasn’t the case here. Burumbio Media excelled at directing the talent and finding the right note or tone in terms of acting.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their art department was a little bit slow on the shooting day, so we had to find a new strategy for how they would approach the rest of the day. That was the only bump that we experienced. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise future clients to be involved and convey the message they want to obtain.

I’m the CEO of Pulp Music Co., a music production company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Burumbio Media?

We hired Burumbio Media to produce a promotional music video for our next single release.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a professional and capable production company to handle the creative and logistical aspect of video production. We are putting a lot of effort into this new single release.

How did you select this vendor?

A friend recommended their services. After seeing their portfolio, we were sold on the idea of working with them.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

After they delivered a proposal, we started working on the concept of the video together. It took Burumbio Media over a week to organize the shoot, including the casting process and location search. They also handled postproduction and editing. We sent materials back and forth until we had an awesome product.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Since this project involved everything from preproduction to delivery, there was feedback happening throughout the process. They were open to my ideas, and our communication was quite fluent.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video is part of an important campaign for us. We expect it to be successful and move our product forward.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They have a highly professional and capable team. We felt we were in good hands from the beginning of the project to the final delivery.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I’m impressed with their ability to improvise and deal with constantly changing situations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As always, we'd love to have our video delivered quicker. However, we understand that quality takes time and effort.

What were your goals for this project?

Produce and create varios videos along of World Cup Russia 2018.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

One of my colleague recommended me Burumbio Media.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

We started with a meeting in Mexico City to understand the needs and objectives of the project. Define the style of the videos and the approximate amount. Then we focused on producing and creating videos according to the style we had talked about.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They hired local team in Russia. In this way the production of videos was facilitated. There was no time to have several reviews in each video but because of good preproduction we did not need many changes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Burumbio Media produced 10 videos in Social Media format during the World Cup for us. Most of them has more than 100,000 views and some of them even reached 1 million views on YouTube. The results are great. Because of that we managed to reach a lot of new followers, monetize the content and be discovered by brands during the World Cup 2018.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I always had the contact with producers and managers of the project. I think we made a great team because of their fast responses and attention the gave to our project. From the other side, the editor made a great and quick job.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The attention and quick reaction to any problems or tasks that we needed to be resolved quickly. They were very kind, and the work environment was full of positive vibes.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are very satisfied with the work they have done, however there is always aspects that can be improved.
