Key deliverables included: periodic remote testing of company systems in a secure enclave employing software agents; support in the form of an automated help desk system to post queries and obtain solutions; subscriptions to encryption and protective software; recommendations and employment of key commercial software, as an example Microsoft 365, that have met Government requirements for security; development of draft and then coordinated final plans and policies to meet the NIST 800-171 requirements to attain compliance.

Weekly meetings set near- and far-term goals and work proceeded to meet those goals. Since there were options to consider, and example being a virtual workspace, the vendor lead took time to explain and demonstrate the option for our consideration. The progress allowed us to meet a key timeline based on a pending contract award.
