BlueSoft consultants were responsible for the architecture of the solution including the data model and implementation of the solution in the client's infrastructure (coal-fired power plant). BlueSoft also performed most of the programming work in technologies: Java/Python + Angular + Cassandra. 

The developed architecture allows for rapid change of business models and configurations made by Boneffice or power plant engineers and thus flexible adaptation of the solution to the client's system requirements.

As a company belonging to Pulp&Paper manufacturing segment our IT systems are very dependent on proper integrations. There are three Paper mills: Arctic Paper Munkedals, Arctic Paper Grycksbo, Arctic Paper Kostrzyn. Two mills are located in Sweden and one in Poland. In addition, Arctic Paper manages logistics and demand management processes. Several partners and systems need to communicate efficiently with Arctic Paper company in order to cover the inquiry to cash process. This requires perfect IT Integration Services. And that's why BlueSoft was invited to support Arctic Paper as integartion is BlueSoft DNA.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Arctic Paper decided to use webMethods Integration Platform from Software AG. BlueSoft was choosen to act as platform integrator, maintenance and development partner because of large experience in integration and deep knowledge of webMethods as complete IT solution for large companies.

WebMethods provide complete environment for design an creation of new integration flows. BlueSoft use this environment to actively day-by-day monitor current services and develop new changes in Java language. By means of very close cooperation between Arctic Paper IT Support and BlueSoft Development and Maintenance Team. The whole IT operation process is very efficient. New changes are delivered on time and in case of any support issues an appropriate response is quickly provided.

BlueSoft team consists of dedicated Project Manager, 2 Senior Integration Engineers and they are also supported by Integration Architects from other BlueSoft teams.

Day-by-day working processes in Arctic Paper are the best feedback. Thousands of integration messages are seamlessly flowing between several business systems as well as external partners and Arctic Paper every day. Always delivered in time.

Small team is working in line with the Agile methodology and closely cooperates with Arctic Paper IT Support team. Dedicated IT Service Desk system is used for efficient communication and BlueSoft Project Manager is responsible for providing highest quality services.

BlueSoft is a very flexible IT Partner, providing extensive knowledge and experience through their consultants. You may count on BlueSoft in different situations and under various circumstances.

The whole BlueSoft's team consisted by 20-30 members including one main architect, 3 senior designer, 10 senior Java developers, 5 regular Java developers, testers, 1 senior project manager and 1 team leader.

Everything you can see on our production environment but bear in mind that Bank is running the development and maintenance on their own since 08.2020.

The whole project was a huge challenge for us and for BlueSoft. During transition phase there was many challenges and we saw that BlueSoft's team wasn't stable. But after transition phase everything worked fine. During stabilization period we worked together and finally we managed to stabilize the whole solution on the production environment.

BlueSoft is good, trusted partner and they are really flexible. Their priority was always giving us quick and effective support.
