I own and operate Wargo Works, LLC. We are a digital Marketing and Public Relations firm. We also offer media coaching.

For what projects/services did your company hire Blackburst Entertainment?

I've worked with Walter Lowe and Blackburst Entertainment a number of times over the years. He is always professional and delivers more than promised in a timeline often faster than promised. I have worked with other production companies over the years and Blackburst is always the first one I recommend to clients.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to record elderly patients with Alzheimer while they share stories and talk together in a group setting. We also did a one on one interview with a mother and daughter. The video was used to promote the program for seniors and used online in media packages.

How did you select this vendor?

I wanted to work with a company that I knew would be comfortable and respectful in an assisted living facility as well as in someone's home. Walter and his team are always professional, appropriate and on time. His company makes my company look good.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

For the Senior Circle project we did two videos. The first was on location at an Assisted Living Facility in their memory care unit. Walter was able to catch the conversations between the seniors and with the proctor from multiple angles. The second video was done in the home of a senior with Alzheimer and Walter Lowe was great at keeping the family calm when the camera and lights were on. My role was that of producer and interviewer. Walter was a tremendous help in keeping people on set calm and focused and being non-invasive to their environment. He was able to get great footage without being obtrusive in the facility and the home. He knows the importance of maintaining professionalism and calm on and off camera and it was greatly appreciated by my clients.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

I worked directly with Walter and the feedback was always immediate.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My client was very happy with the way the video turned out. Her mother was one of the Alzheimer's patients we interviewed and she rapidly declined after our interview. She thanked us for our work and for making her mother feel safe and comfortable with the cameras and lights in her home.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was direct interaction and delivered immediately.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I will refer back to what I said earlier. Not only is Walter very talented with his director of photography skills, but his ability to keep people on set calm and focused while being non-invasive to their environment is a huge deal. He was able to get great footage without being obtrusive in the facility and the home. They know the importance of maintaining professionalism and calm on and off camera, and it was greatly appreciated by my clients.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In my opinion, it doesn't get better than Blackburst Entertainment.
