OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Big Steppers to accomplish?

• We wanted to create a website that would reflect the level and character of our studio and immediately communicate the quality of our work. It was important for us to present KOV.I as a high-end interior design studio, showcase our distinctive approach, and create a strong first impression.
• At the same time, the website needed to attract the right clients and help filter out projects that were not a good fit for our studio. We also wanted a clear and intuitive user experience that would guide potential clients toward getting in touch with us.

How many teammates from Big Steppers were assigned to this project?

2-5 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Big Steppers handled the project from concept to launch. The scope included developing the website structure and copy, creating the initial prototype, and developing a completely new visual concept for the studio, as we did not have an established brand identity at the time. The team then created the full website design, including the layout, typography, visual direction, and interactive elements, with a strong focus on presenting our projects in an editorial, high-end style. They also handled the website development, responsive layouts, animations, CRM integration, and SEO setup. The main deliverable was a fully custom website designed to showcase our projects, communicate the positioning of KOV.I, attract the right type of clients, and turn website visitors into inquiries.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main outcome was a completely new website that successfully reflects the level and positioning of our studio. It gave us a strong visual presentation of our work and helped communicate the quality and character of KOV.I much more effectively. I am very happy with the result and now regularly use the website to present our studio and share our work with potential partners and suppliers. The editorial style we were aiming for was achieved, and the website gives the impression of the high-quality, business-class product we wanted to communicate.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Communication was smooth from the beginning. Anastasia put together a very detailed brief and asked a lot of questions to make sure she fully understood what I wanted from the website. I was quite busy and sometimes took longer to respond, but she was patient and never pressured me. Throughout the project, she responded quickly to my questions and requests and was always willing to make adjustments when needed. The process felt comfortable and well organized, and I was very happy with how everything came together in the end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was their creative approach. They are not afraid to experiment, bring their own ideas to the table, and try something different instead of simply following a standard approach. At the same time, they stay focused on the client’s request and make sure the final result is exactly what the client wanted. I think that balance between creativity and attention to the brief is what makes their approach unique.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Big Steppers could have done differently?

I think there is always room to improve and refine a project further, but at some point you have to recognize that you have reached the right result. In my opinion, we reached that point with this project. Anastasia was always responsive to my questions and requests and was quick to make adjustments when needed, so I don't think there was anything significant that needed to be done differently.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Big Steppers to accomplish?

We needed a website that could do a few things really well at the same time. It needed to elevate our brand and present our work at the level we wanted, but it also needed to be built with conversion in mind since we use the site for Google Ads and lead generation.

The biggest challenge was finding the right balance between a very clean, minimal aesthetic and actual performance. We didn't want to overdesign the site or make it feel cluttered just to add more "conversion-focused" elements. At the same time, we needed a strong portfolio experience where our projects could be presented in high quality and be easy to browse.

How many teammates from Big Steppers were assigned to this project?

We worked with 2-5 employees from Big Steppers. Anastasiia was our main point of contact and was very hands-on throughout the project. The wider team supported the development and implementation.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Big Steppers handled the redesign end-to-end, from research and strategy through UX, prototyping, visual design, and development.

They started by doing a deep dive into our niche and the LA market, looking at competitors, industry trends, references, and what was and wasn't working in the market. They used that research to build the site structure and prototype, then moved into the design and development.

After the initial redesign, we continued working together on additional pages and ongoing optimization, including pages specifically built for A/B testing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results were very strong. After the redesign, we saw a noticeable increase in inbound inquiries, along with improvements in conversion and overall site engagement.

We don't publicly share our specific numbers, but the increase in leads was significant and the new site has performed much better for us overall.

I think the fact that we continued working with Big Steppers after the launch is probably the best indication of how we felt about the results.

The initial redesign is complete, but we're still working with Big Steppers.

After launching the new site, we decided to keep working with the team on additional pages and A/B tests to keep improving the site's performance rather than treating the redesign as a one-time project.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Very well. The team moved quickly and delivered the initial redesign in about a month and a half, right in line with the timeline they committed to.

Communication was straightforward and the team was very proactive. They brought ideas to the table, backed them up with research.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of initiative was probably the biggest thing for me. Anastasiia stayed engaged even after the initial redesign was finished. She and the team kept looking at the site's performance, suggesting A/B tests and new ideas, and thinking about how we could get more out of the site.

It never felt like they were just trying to deliver the project and move on. They genuinely cared about the outcome, which made the collaboration much more valuable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Big Steppers could have done differently?

Honestly, nothing major comes to mind

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd recommend going into the project with clear business goals, but also giving the team room to bring their own ideas to the table.

Big Steppers did a lot of the thinking around the market, competitors, and conversion strategy that went beyond simply making the site look good. If you're looking for a team that cares about both the design and how the website actually performs, I'd definitely recommend them.
